I am wondering if anyone else has run into this (and more importantly resolved it).

So the War Machine kicker seems to miss hitting the ball dead on. I think it is a timing issue. The kicker doesn't kick the ball back with any velocity. I think what is going on is that if I hit that shot perfectly with the right flipper the ball hits the kicker and starts to bounce back and then the kicker activates so the ball just comes out pretty slowly. I recall originally this shot flung the ball back with some serious speed.

If I "accidentally" hit the war machine, (meaning not directly from the right flipper) the ball entering doesn't have the speed of the shot coming directly from the right flipper, the ball gets launched back fast.

Any thoughts? I was thinking that I might have to slow or deaden the ball (I have some of that dead drop black foam) a bit, but I am not sure.
