I've been hacking around reading the switch/lamp matrix from an arduino...it's not that hard.

The yellow top ramp flashers appear to fire when you hit the ramp shot so you could tie to that rather easily, although they also fire for a lot of other reasons. Tying to the switch matrix is probably best.
