Just joining the club now but bought this new in 2010. Added red armor. I did the clear coating and added all the mods, I sent the armor out for powder coating. The powder coat matches the original flat black but it is flat textured red.

I am putting clear and red super bands rubbers on posts, the rubbers will be here today from pinball life. I will post pics later today. Anyone use the clear rings?

If you did sand it, i assume the most critical step is to not sand to much as you can destroy the playfield?

I sanded just the shine off so the clear has some thing to bond to. Then I used a 2 part auto clear(Dupont Chromo Clear) to reclear the playfield. Stern's clear sucks and they put it on thin.
