I had this problem on my NIB IMVE. It was one of the optos. Stern sent an opto and an opto board. I replaced the opto and everything was fine. It was a pain to get to, but it beats not being able to play the game. Just take it slow and take lots of pics. If I can help, let me know. Good luck!
