Hello Guys

Must be some switch that is set too tight?
Or is it a bigger problem than that?

Start a game, pick a song.

Ball sits in the shooter lane. I touch either flipper and get 1.000.000 instantly for the Power Jackpot, the ball is not even in play yet.
And every time I hit either flipper I get an additional 25k.

If I now plunge I will continue to get 25 per flipper stroke.

And no, shaking/kicking/shoving the cabinet does not trigger this, only the flipper buttons do.

Any idea?

Hearing "piuu piuu piuu" over the speaker and raking up point nonstop ruins the game right now.

Put the game in switch test mode and see what’s being triggered. My guess is it’s the slings or another misaligned leaf switch.

Thank you for assisting.

I went to switch test but here is the "kicker"...when I hit the flipper button it does of course tell me that I hit the flipper switch.
How would I go about finding out what gets "passively" triggered?

Go into active switch test. It cycles through what’s active. Should be the trough switches, what else?

I guess I just got frustrated last night as I had already repositioned (not just adjusted, but removed and repositioned) the Mummy Target "Newton" ball as its stem was NOT aligned with the switch underneath.

I woke up this morning, pulled the glass and simply searched for what gives me the 1 Million Power Jackpot and then 25k ever after....the Orb Newton

*sigh*

sonnova…...fixed that one now as well. In case anyone wonders how:

Hey Lermods, thank you for helping! I am a longtime customer, btw, meant a lot to me. Turns out all I needed is a good night sleep and some renewed energy

Have you got the new hex posts from stern?
I put a drop of locktite on them as thay allways come loose and cause problems.

Hello

have not tried those as the stock stems work great once dialed in.
Should they ever bother me I will pull them and modify them to match what you shared here. Thank you for the heads up!

All I can say to all Maiden owners: lift the playfield and check whether the target is aligned with the switch underneath. These are dropped in by hand, no point of reference for the person that installed in Chicago. Should they rush the job they will crap it up.
