Pro if you want 100% reliable captive ball and Orb mechs unless you like ball searches and taking the glass off to adjust switches. Bonus points for non color-bombed GI lighting too.

Quoted from PinCrush:C'mon Mike... thats just ridiculous. Lets not turn a couple of leaf switch gaps into the next Metallica Hammer (also gets a bad rap). My captive balls are 100% reliable.
I mostly kid but it does seem like there have been issues with the sarcophogus mech on every LE stream I've seen. Even the Premium/LE games I own (TWD/ACDC) seem to have more glass off moments then their Pro counterparts. That darn TWD crossbow was a PITA the first month I owned it and it took a lot of monkeying with the left ramp to get it to shoot right... And those lower playfield stand-ups on ACDC suck as well. Pros are just more reliable overall.
Quoted from trilamb:Depends on the mode. Definitely not better for Rime of the Ancient Mariner.
I'll take the free shot at one of the upper x targets are the beginning of the mode. Usually at least one of those is needed to get your multipliers going. I'd rather the ball start at the top for every mode because of this.
Quoted from Chambahz:Do the math on the extras that come with the LE. I think all 3 models are awesome, but the Premium is the worst value overall.
That said, if you buy one and it’s a keeper, it’s still “great value”, but not as great as the others.
-upgraded playfield glass
-shaker motor
-side armour
-artblades
-metallic side art
-mirrored back glass
-upgraded speakers
If you do the math the LE has maybe $1000 in cosmetic extras over the Premium and costs $1500 more. What makes the LE attractive is that it's limited in number and should hold it's value relatively well. If you just want to play the full feautured game and don't care about cosmetics the premium is a much better value.
Quoted from tktlwyr:Can I Play With Madness Multiball is in the current .98 code release.
There’s another secret mode (10th tomb treasure?) to be included in .99.
I'm surprised we haven't heard more talk of this mode since the third tomb treasure award is fairly easy to reach. Does anyone know of any videos which would show it? I watched the SDTM/Pinstadium stream hoping it would be in it and unfortunately they didn't make it far enough. Would love to hear more talk of IMDN gameplay here on Pinside! What's everyone's favorite mode and why? I'll start.. I'm between FOTD and Icarus. I love the way the spinners are implemented in the mode and how you can use the right ramp as a doubler. On Icarus if you can get a multiplier started and get into a rhythm on the ramps it can just get insane! I had it up to a 9 way combo last night which was awesome!
Quoted from tktlwyr:It’s not coded in the game yet. Keith says .99.
It says it's there in the readme for .98 and at least one person has mentioned playing it..... The mode Keith mentioned that was coming in .99 is Run to the Hills.
Here's the top line of the Premium readme:
V0.98.0 - May 23, 2018
======================
- Can I Play with Madness - new mode added as one of the Pharaoh's Tomb Treasure awards
Quoted from bigd1979:How do you get the treasure awards? I dont think ive gotten any yet
You get them by doing well in modes or multiballs. They are similar to Gifts of the Elves in LOTR.
Quoted from tktlwyr:I thought you were referencing Run to The Hills. I'm familiar with Can I Play With Madness because I've been there several times.
How is Can I play with Madness? What do you do exactly?
Quoted from Who-Dey:The lighting on the Premium is nice. Worth the extra money? No but its definitely nice.
Isn't the lighting the same if you swap in red LEDs in one of the GI strands on the Pro?
