So far so good on my premium that was just delivered. Everything seems fine except for that back pop bumper. Fires on random left flipper presses. Sometimes every 2 or 3, sometimes 10-20 between firing. Seeing all the mechanics working back there made me really appreciate getting the premium instead of pro.

To bring up another fun topic, anybody notice dimples on theirs? I was going over mine and haven’t noticed any so far which is not normal compared to my other machines I had. And those balls have been flying everywhere!

I've been invested in this hobby a relatively short period of time and have only bought NIB Stern machines. All 5 have worked perfectly out of the box and have had no issues. I was a little worried reading this forum and committing to a premium but am glad I stuck it out and got it. None of the issues with mechs, defects, or ball launches have shown up in 150 or so plays. This machine is awesome.

Don't think I've seen this with the Orb shot on the premium. Stops registering after a while and I noticed that the post (2.0 version) slides right out of the scoop/switch with a hard hit and can't be reset without manually doing it. Spring doesn't seem to reset the ball location either sometimes. It gets stuck and won't spring back unless you hit it again. Problem now though is it wont' go back into the cup/switch.

Edit-Reading back through I may try to unscrew the post a bit so it's longer and unable to get out of the scoop. Also saw a post about lubing the part that is catching and keeping the ball from resetting.
