They let the stainless steel rail slide out into the shooter lane too far and secured it with the bubble level screws in that "pushed out" position, hence the launch mechanism rubbing on it. I can see mine being very close as in your picture. Auto-launcher adjustment is the most challenging part of this game!
Not pretty. But this worked. Had to “bend” the right rail away from the machine. Drilled a new hole and fit the only screw I had to work. Hence why it’s sticking halfway out.
Waxed the playfield and lane. At 90%+ auto launcher
