Sept 2019:
Pinball Life is now carrying the 3D Anubis kit:

https://www.pinballlife.com/iron-maiden-anubis-3d-kit.html

Update 5-29-19: All discounted domestic and international orders complete. Item added to pinside store and website for general sales.

Update 4-25-19: First orders shipped. Shipping will continue in the order of the initial interest list.

Update 3-18-19:
Okay, I have the parts all worked out. The Anubis works on the static Pro using supplied hex standoffs or the moving Prem/LE. Both mount using a hidden mount that slides over the supplied button top screws and tightens from the front using a supplied min-hex wrench. Total installation (removing existing plastic and installing 3D Anubis) is about 10 minutes on either the Pro or Prem/LE. Here are some pics of the installation on a Pro:

Hex standoffs installed with the button top screws about 1/2 way in to leave room to slide the mount over them:
anubis1 (resized).jpganubis1 (resized).jpg

Example of the bottom of the Anubis showing the receptacles where the screws slide in on the back:
anubis1b (resized).jpganubis1b (resized).jpg

Using the hex wrench to tighten the Anubis on the mount through the small access holes in the front:
anubis2 (resized).jpganubis2 (resized).jpg

Finished installation:
anubis3 (resized).jpganubis3 (resized).jpg

I still think uplighting is the best way to show it off, but it was taking too much time to source the parts at a reasonable rate and put together the kit in the best way, so I'm not doing a kit with the external lighting included.

Anubis kit will come in a box with the following:
1 x Anubis figure
2 x Hex standoffs
2 x Button Top screws
1 x hex wrench

Preorder price is $69, shipped in the US. International send me your address and I'll get a shipping quote. I have the interest list started with anyone that already posted that they wanted one. Anyone that wants one that HASN'T posted that in this thread, PM me and I'll add you to the list. These take a LONG time to print and they'll go out first come, first served. I expect to start shipping them in the next 10 days or so one. Once the initial orders are done, these will go in the Pinmonk store.

Original Post:

I'm getting close to finishing this, so I decided to break this out from the Iron Maiden lens tree mod thread.

This works for Pros, and I just need to confirm the mounting/clearance for the Prem/LE and it's ready to go. I'm pretty sure I can get the holes for the hidden screw mounts about half the size they are now.

Here's where the Anubis 3D version is at right now (without the mount, it's just resting on the ramp cover):
anubis-test2-sml (resized).jpganubis-test2-sml (resized).jpg

LE-Premium version in action:

The is the complete kit as it will be shipped (less install instructions, which are not pictured):

Quoted from dts:

Great job! I'd love one for my LE. The color turned out great too, although I notice in the animation on the lcd, the anubis figure is in lighter stone color. Prefer what you did.

Yeah, there's a lot going on back there, color-wise with the stone background faux lighting effects. Lots of yellows and oranges and some reds. I ended up using this filament because it was the best compromise between true to sandstone and still fitting in with the skittles colors washing over that back area. It looks super-boss in person, even better than the pic (that kind of washed out the head due to the proximity to the light). It's taken a while, but I'm pretty close to being done with it.

#9 5 years ago
Quoted from Tmezel:

That’s very cool. Did you design that yourself?

Yes, the design details are different than the one on the plastic enough that it's not a copy, but not so much different it doesn't look like it doesn't belong on the machine.

#18 5 years ago
Quoted from flashburn:

Is the plan to share the STL or will you only be making them for purchase? I have a Premium and a 3D Printer so if you need someone to test fit, let me know.

I'll be selling these once I have it nailed down.

#19 5 years ago
Quoted from YeOldPinPlayer:

It looks out of place to me. Anubis isn't in any Maiden artwork, it's Eddie in Egyptian garb.

Look at the plastic this replaces. It's Anubis. In this case it's "guarding" Pharaoh Eddie.

#20 5 years ago
Quoted from modfather:

I have a mod similar to this for the PRo, but have had a problem making the clearance for the Prem / LE models for the Annubis to clear the above wood channel when it raises. I am glad you are making a mod for the Prem models . Looking good Vireland. I can assist in any custom Painting of your mod if you need it.

I just went and looked up the one you're talking about. The scale is way too big for that area. From what I've seen of the Prem/LE, it has to be almost exactly the size of the plastic cutout to work, and the one you have sits higher and is larger which makes it tough or impossible on a Prem/LE. If I can't get the one I've done to work on the moving Prem/LE as-is, I may have to scale it down a hair for the Prem/LE and leave the slightly larger one for the Pros, but I'm 90% sure I'll get it to work as-is. Hiding the screws and making the hidden mounting just slightly adjustable vertically helps.

But until I actually get this one installed on a Prem/LE, it's all big talk from me.

Any update on testing on a premium or le?

Making progress. Just got the hardware in for the hidden screw mounts today. It's getting close, but not quite yet!

Quoted from Squizz:

looks sweet ass vireland
love mods that are not 3d printed.
will be in for 1 for my le
happy to take unpainted if cheaper

Thanks. I'll probably offer artist-detailed and naked versions. Honesty, I think the naked one looks boss with no detailing but a spotlight for the shadowing. It's getting close to being released.

#31 5 years ago
Quoted from thewool:

Looking great!! Please post some more pics when you get a chance, cheers.

Once I get the Premium/LE thickness adjustment made (because of the movement on the Prem/LE version, there's not lot of clearance available at the top) so it works on the Pro/Premium/LE, it's ready to go. It's very close.

#32 5 years ago

Finally got a version made that will mount on a Prem/LE and raise all the way up. The clearance is TIGHT, but it finally works. One big step closer to release.

#34 5 years ago
Quoted from Billy16:

It better not be too tight, as my gate has gotten out of alignment and become stuck several times already. When this happens it moves just enough to cause the tabs on the bottom not to fit back into the corresponding slots in the ramp--then the gate will raise back up as it won't seat all the way.

It's only tight clearance at the very top position. It's not touching anything that would make it bind or make a binding gate worse.

#37 5 years ago
Quoted from vansmack99:

Any updated pics?

These test fittings have been done with relatively rapidly-printed (low res, high layer height) gray filament models, so while the dimensions are the same, they're not super-attractive and not something I would want to represent the project (i.e. they're less attractive than what I've already posted while I work through these test fittings on the Prem/LE).

I should have a picture with a better-looking one I can post late next week. Down to getting the screws and hex wrench access holes right now.

#39 5 years ago

While we're waiting for me to get the last bits of the Prem/LE adjustments dialed in, here's a picture of an older version of the model (the final design has smaller holes for the screw-tightening hex wrench access) on a Pro, but with the uplighting kit that will come with the Pro and Prem/LE.

So from the factory, Prem/LEs come with a controlled flasher on a tall hex post. Factory Pros come with nothing but an extra light socket above Anubis' head. I'll be shipping two hex posts for Prem/LE and one short hex post for Pros as well as a spotlight with alligator clips on the end of the wires to clip on to the GI under the PF. That way the pros will get the superior uplighting that shows off the Anubis best, and the Prem/LE will get the new feature of constant uplighting for the 3D model with the ability to have the flasher stacked on top at the same height as stock, so the flashing effect isn't lost when the Anubis raises. I took off the bulb above Anubis because I think it looks best with just the uplighting, but of course you can always leave it in.

I need to make the wires slightly longer so I can attach the hex post about 1" closer and increase the angle of the light a bit more, but this is pretty close to final lighting.

Quoted from MJW:

Nice improvement from stock. Still in. Pricing?

I've got to have all the details for Prem/LE and Pro kits nailed down before I'll have a price. I'm close, but not quite to a price yet.

#49 5 years ago
Quoted from thewool:

This looks brilliant! Will you ship to the UK?

Yes, I do international shipping, I just can't do it through the pinside store because there isn't a way to break out the shipping costs by country. So I paypal direct for international.

#51 5 years ago
Quoted from Cyberrocker:

Bad Ass Victor! Yet another great / must have Maiden Mod IMHO. Count me in for a premium version when you get it finalized. \m/

Thanks!

What I hope is the last test-fit version is going out today to check the hex screw length (which is different for a Prem/LE due to the bracket that doesn't exist on the Pro) and verify the overall fit is now right on the Prem/LE moving bracket.

12
#52 5 years ago

We have a successful test of the moving version on the Prem/LE! The clearances were really tight in the up position, so I had to redesign it a bit, but it works now for Pro and Prem/LE and from the front looks no different! This test one is gray only because I was printing them quickly to get the redesign right. The real ones will be the gold and higher res like you've seen in some of the other Pro pics.

Those two small holes at the bottom are now all that's visible on the front. No more factory big ugly stainless screw heads to mess up the look. I've made a hidden mount that you just slide the Anubis on to, then you tighten the screws using a small hex wrench I'll provide with each one. The holes are just big enough to let the wrench in.

Thanks to Hdmike444 for getting me initial Prem/LE measurements and to dgposter who helped me do the numerous test fittings on the Prem/LE since we only have a Pro here. It was a LOT different fit and required multiple adjustments to be able to clear the crossmember on the cabinet when it was in the up position. It wouldn't have been possible without his help.

It looks fantastic!

Thanks! I'm excited to get the finished version into the wild.

Quoted from patrickvc:

Wow nice. I’m in for one

I'll put up an interest list within the next two weeks. I just need to work out the last few details.

#57 5 years ago
Quoted from thewool:

Wow! That looks amazing!! Please add me to the list.
Do you think it would be possible to make some small plugs or something to cover the holes? I know they are only small and not very noticeable, just thought it might finish it off.
Well done!!

I've thought about it, but they're tiny in real life and less intrusive on the gold version. In the interests of not making improvements forever and just getting it out, I'll probably ship it the way it is. Compare it with the giant metal screws on the factory plastic and these are a huge improvement.

#60 5 years ago
Quoted from thewool:

Spot on, thanks Vic.

If I can do something without delaying it, I will though. I am, unfortunately, a perfectionist.

#61 5 years ago
Quoted from hoby1:

Hey Vic. Will you sell the Anubis by itself like some have asked.
Would be the way I would prefer.
Great work

Big picture, the lighting only changes it a couple dollars and I'd rather everyone has the same kit because after a lot of experimentation uplighting makes it look the best. But even if you decide it's not for you, the alligator clips and post make it so it can be used on any other machine.

#64 5 years ago
Quoted from littlecammi:

I really like what you've done, but I'm never going to own an Iron Maiden. How would it look mounted in MB near the Mummy?

I like this kind of outside the box thinking! It probably would look...wrong because the style's totally different, but I can't say 100%.

Quoted from littlecammi:

Thinking about this some more, maybe I should have a contest once these are out to find the best non-Iron Maiden home for Anubis when he needs a change of pace...I'll start:

Vacationing in Ghostbusters?

It's PLA, so most paint works on it.

Quoted from Hdmike444:

I’ll take one if I’m not already on the list!

You're definitely on the list. I'm sending you and dgposter one free for helping me out with measurements and testing on the Premium/LE. It really helped a LOT to get this compatible with both the non-moving Pro and the moving Prem/LE bracket.

#76 5 years ago
Quoted from MJW:

I should already be in your list. Been waiting for this one. Thanks.

You are.

Quoted from MJW:

I think I'm already on there too but please check.

You are too.

Basically anyone that said put me down for one, or add me to the list or whatever in this thread is already on the list. I'll be sending out invoices mid-late next week with shipping to follow the week after.

Quoted from Pinzzz:

Put me on the list for a Prem/LE version.
I wish I was talented enough to paint it...
I think I’ll send mine to the Modfather for a paint job!

#82 5 years ago
Quoted from vansmack99:

Yes, you're already there. It might be a good time for you and the other international orders to see if they can get together with their buddies that may be getting it to pool the shipments to save on not-inexpensive international shipping.

Quoted from aeonblack:

Damn, these look good. Any chance I could pay you for an stl file? I don't have anything running on my 3d printer right now, and this would be a damn fine candidate for my Premium

Sorry, no. Too much work in this to release an STL file for free endless prints. Only selling the final product.

Still taking orders? I’d like to get in on one for a pro.

Yeah, still taking the preorder pricing orders. This will be for sale for a long time, but not at the $69 delivered (domestically) price. Once I have the preorders out, it will go in the pinmonk store, but at a slightly higher price plus shipping.

Gotcha covered, but PM me your email address, please.

Here's the LE-Premium in action (GIF's a bit grainy, but it gives you the idea...):
Anubis-3D.gifAnubis-3D.gif

(This is in the diagnostic tests to keep the flasher off that normally flashes when that goes up and down)

#126 5 years ago
Quoted from DrMark12PA:

Will there be any painting to the figurine to accentuate the texture more? Right now it looks slightly unfinished but looks fantastic with the movement compared to the stock plastic which I hardly notice when it moves.

I'm leaving painting up to individual's choice. It looks very at home in the back of the machine as-is. I'm sure it might be made even better with some skilled airbrushing.

#127 5 years ago
Quoted from Fytr:

Also can you provide instructions on "from below" lighting you originally had so we can add that ourselves if we want? Definately needs to be lit better.

Yeah. It's easier on the Pro than the Premium/LE because the Prem/LE has a flasher there you need to make a stack of spotlights, replacing the hex post there now with two stacked hex posts, attaching a spotlight in the middle and putting the flasher back on top.

The spotlight needs about 20" of wire and some clips to get to the nearest GI. I'll post some instructions and parts.

#128 5 years ago
Quoted from Shapeshifter:

This will be fun to see what people come up with.
I will get my painted black and gold. [quoted image]

The problem with too much black is it won't blend with what's already there on the backboard. I'd proceed with caution. Maybe some "distressed" black where you see very faded color...

#129 5 years ago

Foam is in. This is the complete kit I'll be shipping (instructions are not pictured, but they will be packed in as well):

Anubis foam packaging (resized).jpgAnubis foam packaging (resized).jpg
#133 5 years ago
Quoted from Pinzzz:

Meticulous OCD packing...I love it!

The design is the catch with doing cut foam, but I did all the work for that in 3D and sent it over to the foam place ready to go, so it was relatively cheap to do. I haven't done this for the color brackets because they don't need it, but this kit kind of demanded a different level of presentation plus a way to keep the components from bashing up the 3D figure in shipment.

Quoted from Blakester:

Please add me for my Premium--returning (very satisfied) customer

Gotcha covered.

Quoted from SpecialK-33:

Just well done vireland! So impressed. I PM’d you a few weeks back about getting on the list for one of these mods along with adding a few more of your gel light tree inserts to my order. Can’t wait to get them.

Can't wait until everyone gets their hands on these and can check it out in person. I pushed back the paypal invoicing until I had the foam, but now I can start that and get things lined up to start shipping mid-late next week.

#138 5 years ago

Thanks to both of you for helping with this project. Hard to believe it's been almost 90 days since I *thought* it was close to being done, but details needed to be worked out correctly. Now that the shipping test is completed and the packaging has worked as expected, I can move to getting those on the advance list invoiced and get these ready to ship out to everyone!

#146 5 years ago
Quoted from MJW:

Any eta on when orders getting shipped?

I was hoping to have a bunch shipped already, but the guy doing the instruction illustrations flaked and I had to scramble to get them finished. I should have them printed and folded tomorrow and I can then start getting these in the mail.

Here's what the Pro version instructions look like (the instructions are double-sided with the Pro on the front and the Premium/LE instructions on the back). There's one error on this one, but it's not the one that went to print. Most people probably won't even catch it.

#151 5 years ago
Quoted from thedarkknight77:

Looks great! A simple bronze wash would do wonders for this figure.

There are so many elements of personal taste when painting a figure that I decided just to leave it gold (which looks great in the game as-is) and leave painting to each individual if they want to do it.

#152 5 years ago
Quoted from vansmack99:

The hole plugs are now included!

Yeah, I am including 2 little gold plugs with a lip so you can get them back out if needed, and they do close up the tiny black holes, but some people may not like them, so that why I list them as optional.

#154 4 years ago
Quoted from Bantam:

I’m in for one for a LE please!

I haven't billed out any international yet, so you're under the wire.

#156 4 years ago

Domestic paid orders have started shipping out today, in the list order. I have yet to bill the international ones or the ones that have additional items added to ship with the Anubis. I'll be doing both of those in the next few days as shipping continues. I should be done with most or all of the Anubis shipping by the end of next week, at which point it will be added to the Pinmonk store with a small bump in price and no free shipping.

Very nice wash! Looks great installed!

I eventually will add instructions for Prem/LE machines to replace that flasher hex post with two stacked hex posts and put a spotlight in the middle and the flasher on the top so the model can be uplit all the time and then flashed like it is now when the tomb opens on the Prem/LE.

#167 4 years ago
Quoted from Concretehardt:

Please add me to the list, I finally got a Maiden LE and I definitely want this mod!

Gotcha added.

#169 4 years ago

Shipping update:
Domestic shipping continues. Billed out all but a few straggler international I'll get done today. I should have everything shipped by Friday or the following Monday. Some have already arrived from the shipments I made last week.

#171 4 years ago
Quoted from MJW:

Arrived and is great improvement. Thanks Vireland. Ever consider doing the same thing with the eddy Pharoah target? It Would look cool but get beat up by the ball though. Disregard.

I would like to do it, and did some preliminary work on that and the pyramid. It would be ABS or probably cast it. Unfortunately, the Pharaoh LOOKS like Eddie, so there may be copyright problems with that, which is why I haven't done any more on it. It would be BOSS, though. May still happen.

#173 4 years ago
Quoted from Cyberrocker:

What a great mod. Thanks again Vic!

Awesome, thanks for posting pics of the before and after!

If you rotate that left plug a little counter-clockwise it will blend in better. the long part is meant to go at the 9 o'clock position on the left and the 3 o'clock position on the right.

Quoted from Billy16:

I can't get the colors quite right in the photo, but here is my effort at painting. Was fun painting it, be cool to see what everyone comes up with.
[quoted image]

What does it look like in the game? I think I'd go darker in the definition lines to make them stand out. If you go lighter, it kind of flattens the definition out. But it may look different in the game with that lighting. Post a pic once you get it installed.

#186 4 years ago
Quoted from Billy16:

I thought the same thing when I was using that color, but I wanted to try it. The camera doesn't do a good job of replicating what any of it really looks like with light. The hi-lites disappear and add a kind of shimmer. I'll go darker if it doesn't look good when I install it.

I'll definitely keep an eye out for the pic of it installed to see what it looks like.

ALMOST done shipping out the orders. I have a handful of domestic to finish, then the international and I'm done. Thanks to all who supported this project. It's already the #2 sales item I've done, behind the wildly popular Iron Maiden lens tree bracket.

The Anubis 3D will become a regular stock item and go into the pinmonk pinside store (and pinmonk.com) late next week at a slightly higher price, so no more PMs to order!

Sent a number of unanswered pm's - any chance of a reply?
Thanks

Just got in from Golden State, will be catching up on PMs and orders tonight and tomorrow.

Guys, I know it goes without saying but don't drop the figure. The ears are fragile and you'll likely break one off like I did!
Ooof...as my dad would say, I was being schusslich.

Yeah, the ears are the most fragile part of the figure since they're relatively thin and standing up off the head. I tried to reinforce them, but they looked weird with thick backs on them, and honestly it didn't add enough to prevent breakage if they were dropped.

PM me a picture of the damage and I'll see what I can do to help you out.

Discounted preorder shipping for domestic and international is complete and the 3D Anubis has been added to the pinside store as a regular item.

Nice. Definitely post once you get it installed.

Nice. Are you going to use the hole plugs or just leave them open?

#202 4 years ago
Quoted from Pinzzz:

Maybe...are they easy to get out, if needed?
FYI, only use the hex spacers on the Pro and not the Premium. the ears won’t clear the wood on top on the Premium with the hex spacers.
I caught my mistake quickly, if unnoticed...you could burnout your motor and, or break the ears off the figure.
I didn’t realize, it comes with instructions for the pro and prem on the flip side of the paper.

Yeah, the spacers are only for the pro. Like you found out, the instructions point that out. I include mounting hardware and instructions for both the Pro and Premium in one box.

The plugs are pretty easy to get out. There's a tiny tab on the top of them, if you rotate that so it's pointed to the outside (left one pointing to 9 o'clock, right one pointing to 3 o'clock), you can pop them out pretty easily by sliding a fingernail under them.

#205 4 years ago
Quoted from Concretehardt:

I didn’t even see the hole plugs in the box, I will look again today.

They're very tiny and are in the round plastic case with the screws and standoffs.

#207 4 years ago
Quoted from Billy16:

I got one in, the other popped out and vanished...

It's a delicate balance between making them tight, but not so tight you can't get them out if you need to.

Quoted from bowz:

So, I asked my 16 yr old daughter, who loves to paint, to paint my Anubis. She asked “dad-what color do you want it to be?” And I said “whatever you think-you’re the expert”.
This is what she came up after doing some research on it. I really like it a lot.[quoted image]

Let's see it in the game!

Quoted from KLR2014:

Can I get an update ? Tried to Contact you through pm last 5 days but no reply. Thanks

I'll get your straightened out today. I had an annual (non-pinball) festival I volunteer at that tied me up last week through this past weekend. It's over now and I'm recovering/catching up.

I went with metallic gold with some black and brown washes (following it with just a little bit of gold highlights).
Yes just need to find some time to install it now!
Love the details in the sculpt PinMonk, very well done![quoted image][quoted image]

Looks like a Tomb Treasure itself! Definitely post when you get this installed! I want to see how it looks on the backpanel!

#224 4 years ago
Quoted from Asael:

Got mine, painted it and am very happy how it looks installed.[quoted image]

Looks good, but it would benefit even more with some uplighting by taking that flasher post and making a spotlight totem pole with a GI spotlight halfway up and the flasher still on top. Uplit, these look even better.

#227 4 years ago
Quoted from Sutol:

Don't profess to being the best artist. In fact I'm more comfortable stripping a playfield down but thanks to a shove from thewool seeing what he'd done I had a go.
Turned out ok for me and with the uplight vireland suggested it just sets it off superbly with the dark shadow it casts. The pic was took with just the gi lit.
I don't have any good warm white led so I pinched a white one for now out the coin door on BM66.[quoted image]

I like this one a LOT. How does it blend in with the rest of the stuff on the backboard?

Are you plugging the screw holes or leaving them open?

Quoted from Bantam:

IMG_1805.jpeg[quoted image]

Are those lights on the eyes or just neon orange paint? It looks like they're glowing...

#231 4 years ago
Quoted from Sutol:

It looks pretty good I think with the rest of the backboard.Longer it's in there the more I'm liking it.
The spotlight is a must though for the effect.
I will put the plugs in once I paint them just to finish it off as well as the torches from mezel.[quoted image]

Yep, it looks super groovy. I like your version of the finish a LOT, and glad you up-lit it as well. You know what would be cool is to get those tiny directional lights Deadpool debuted to light the disco ball and use those for the uplight and (if they have one) the flasher. It would take the bulk of those spotlight and flasher cones away and I could hide it in a theme-appropriate decaying egyptian column.

Quoted from Fytr:

I was inspired by ben1981 ‘s black wash but added some “ancient gold” to it as well. I’m terrible at painting so pretty happy with how it turned out.
Currently backlit from an led strip I had mounted behind the original plastic but will be modifying the lighting to go with the “lit from below” effect.
Will also be installing the screw hole plugs but forgot to install them when I painted it so trying to make them match now.[quoted image][quoted image]

Can you see it with the Cyborg Eddie on the left instead of the right?

#239 4 years ago
Quoted from Birdnest:

I only have hands for painting walls but it has been raining all weekend so decided to give this a shot. Wife finally kicked me out of the craft room - apparently I wasn’t following the rules. If only all mods had the quality of vireland. Learned from the other posts and made sure to have a bright cloth below to catch the tiny plugs - which I dropped several times[quoted image][quoted image][quoted image][quoted image]

I don't know about the red belt, but aside from that if you're painting it's pretty hard to go wrong with gold/blue or a dark acrylic wash from the pictures people have posted already.

(And yes, the plugs are tiny and easy to lose track of!)

Quoted from Bestshore:

My daughter and I got our Anubis and got a little carried away with the painting. When I was putting on the last color, I dropped it and broke the ear. Argh!!!! I looked on the floor for the piece, but never found it.
Super frustrating!!
I carved a piece of ptex from the ski tuning bench, and glued on a new ear. Since it was painted black, it looked ok.
When I installed it, I bumped it and broke the ear off again. Loser!!
I’ll fix it again when I regain some self respect and confidence.[quoted image][quoted image][quoted image]

It looks good. To make the ears pointy like a real Anubis, the tradeoff was even if I thickened the back a bit, they still are breakage points because they are narrow and come to a point that stands above the head, so dropping it on a hard surface almost always breaks one. Fortunately, once it's installed, that's not a concern anymore.

Yours is only the second one I know of that was dropped and the ear broke, which is a pretty good record given that I've shipped a lot of these. I'll PM you and see if I can help you out...

FINALLY getting close to a companion mod for this 3D Anubis on the backboard. Got lost in a model for another part of the Maiden backboard for a while that's dead-ended and took a break to come back and finish this one. Looks super-boss and is interactive with the existing lighting. Should be able to show something this week.
