You and Dan should send each other your mods. Maybe between the 2 of you a solution will appear to allow for both mods.
Looks great. I like the sideblades with the stone step ramps also. Sure wish I had a Maiden that nice. 
This is actually my game. Dan gave me a ramp to install and try out. Goes on fairly easy. He didn't have directions when I installed it, but it was pretty straight forward. Once on I had no problems hitting the shot. Dan told me he turned his flipper power up a bit, but I left mine alone and it was plenty strong.
