So Far, So Good, So What is my motto with storms at the beginning...

This is the page that I've kept up with...
    https://weather.com/storms/hurricane-central/irma-2017/AL112017

I will watch my mom's house this year like last year but this year she'll most likely stay.

There were 20+ mile an hour winds going from the back of the house (she lives at the bottom of a hill)
towards the creek in her back yard (which leads to the Saint Johns River).

I totally wanted to go extreme kayaking, but just relaxed on the back porch much of it until the back porch flooded.

    ***Jacksonville FL Storm Update***

    Currently still open...
Panda Xpress convenience store on Belfort Road
Ying's Takee Outtee Chinese on University Blvd
(no I couldn't make those up!)

I got a local wine and Chinese and the new orange Colt 45 drink (YUM!)

I saw just a few trees down here and there but nothing in the roads.

    Quoted from Pinball-is-great:

Anymore updates to share from FL/SC/GA Pinsiders of their communities/homes/yards whether good or bad news?

Some of my pinball buds still don't have power... many are back up each day.
Many trees down effecting power cables still and water tables are jacked up.

It's taking quite a while for debris to be picked up in this area still.
My mom's back yard which is one Pottsburg Creek (that leads to the river which leads to the ocean)
is still flooded most days and the water table hasn't lowered fully yet (she can't cut her whole yard yet).
