Got a rottendog flipper board that's broken that I'm trying to turn around quickly. It requires a MTP12P10 mosfet, which I don't have in stock. How is a IRL540 different? The MTP seems to have a higher tolerance for activation voltage, but who cares? It's going to be 5v no matter what. I still suck at understanding different components, even with datasheets. Will the IRL540 work in this case?

Oh, one is P channel and one is N channel. Duh. What would a common replacement be?

I think IRFP9350 looks good. Different package, but the pinout should be the same. Probably more expensive than MTP12P10 tho.

Yeah, looks like it. Was trying to avoid having to order something, but I think I'm SOL. Oh well. Thanks!

Wait a minute, that's N channel too. I thought N channel and P channel worked oppositely.
