I've seen Vid's mod about replacing the 27 ohm resistors with jumpers and upgrading to Mosfet IRFZ34N's on Sys 3-7 MPU's. Will this mod work for the Sys9 board as well? Has anyone done this mod and noticed a drop in temperature/heat in the backbox?

I don't recall seeing anyone do that to a System 9 board, but I see no reason that it won't work. Another, I think better method is described here:

The example is a DE MPU, but the same should hold for Williams System 9 and 11.
