shipping has gone up. I ship quiet frequently and things that you thought would be 5-7 bucks are double. And that is usps.
purchased a PinShield for my Stranger Things Pro machine because the cats seem to like pinball more than i do, & i am sick of cleaning the glass so often.
it arrived within two weeks of placing the order despite the infamous USPS shipping delays of December 2020.
i’m really happy with this - it’s easy to place & remove, & it fits my machine like a glove.

I would like to first and foremost thank everyone who has supported Pinshield and made it a great success. While I would love to do more with the product, other things in life have become more of a priority. Rather than closing down the store, I have decided to hand it off to Joel, aka silverbearss a fellow pinsider to take ownership of Pinshield. Is there something different with them now? I mean they already have been posted with pics in blue and black so not really seeing what more pics are going to do unless they are different right. It’s just a solid color cover with a logo right

Mod idea I am giving away for free because I don't have the time or means to make them. Someone make custom Pinshield logo stickers (just the shield) that can be printed with a game name or abbreviation. Then the sticker can be applied to the shield on the Pinshield, making it custom for that game. It would help when you have a bunch of them off and you want to put them back on the same games that you took them off of (some fit certain games better than others).
It could be a simple white shield shaped sticker with WOZ or AFM in it. Or you could actually do custom backgrounds from that particular game and the acronym in it. Whatever you decide and how artistic you want to get. But this way, you could identify your mats to your game. And when you sell a game, if you want to keep the pinshield and use it elsewhere, its as easy and switching out a sticker.
Whoever makes them would mostly need a way to print out the custom shaped stickers, and then stockpile a bunch of custom art, or fonts, or however you wanted to do them on their computer. And then just print out the stickers as they are ordered.
Anyway, I would be a buyer for 5 of the stickers...

Damn.... just recieved one last week. 
I just ordered and recieved 4 Pinshield protectors, and could not be happier with the product. I know Stern has a smiliar protector available, but was looking for something more cost effective, and that would match with the widebody game I have. One protector was very slightly damaged upon arrival - I reached out to Joel and let him know - he promptly shipped a replacement and included an extra shield in the box. Could somebody put a wide body shield on a standard machine and take a picture? I know it won't look as clean with the overhang but I would like something to cover the side rails as well to prevent dust from getting into the plastic channels. I know it's a odd request but am curious how it would look.

I’ve seen the full set of pin armor for moving games around, I wish they still made that, I need a set to move machines down and up stairs. Was that armor from OP as well?

Yep, dick move by Stern and they charge a shit ton more. Next they will make limited runs like their toppers just to create a demand.

Yeah; Stern did "license" from Pinarmor IIRC correctly.... because if not The patent would have given the Pinarmor team an easy win.
You know they didn't license from Pin Shield... just stole the idea.
It's one of many reasons I won't buy another nib from them.
