Best place to start if the scoring reels just keep rolling is the cam switches on top of the scoring reels. They make a circuit when the machine is at zero position so it can proceed to the next step in the reset process. Often they are dirty or out of adjustment.
Manually advance the reels and watch the switches open and close to get an idea what is going on. Major on/off movements happen when the reels are at 9/0/1
Great game, went to Maryland to pick mine up and when setup right is great fun. Strongly recommend adding the second bell, only came with one from the factory. Bracket and clapper is already there.
