Just curious, how many of you register your Pinballs in the IPSND.

I’m top 10 verifying submissions and a top 20 submitter. I usually submit most the serials I see on Pinside and that’s where most the top submitters get there number.

If you’re not one to submit your own machine serial numbers, simply post a picture of it on Pinside and chances are very strong someone on the IPSND will snag it and submit it on your behalf and state that you are the owner

I saw this the other day! I haven't registered my SNs in a while, but I got a nice early run TZ I wanted to document there. I wasn't sure if the IPSND was still a "thing" but when I saw your handle as a top verifier, that made me feel good it was still a very active database.

I'll try to register all my serial numbers there, and with as much machine detail as I can moving forward.

I’ve tried to focus on certain titles specifically that I submit every example and serial I can find. They referenced some of my efforts on captains auction at Banning. “Only a few of these even recorded!” And I looked and 8 of the 10 were by me, lol!

It’s really useful I find, especially for games that we don’t know how many they made.
Modern sterns it’s harder but still only in the thousands. It shocks me how “big” the hobby seems when there are in reality not many actual machines in existence.

I reconized your call sign. Yes, I have submitted my own. I do notice a lot of submissions by bieng ads on Pinside as well as Craigs list.

    Often but not 100%

I just got an email saying I've signed up when I've never even heard of the site nor even come across it before.

Seems oddly specific to get an email saying I've registered

    I haven't even bothered.

I used to but not anymore. It would take me too long to get everything on there at this point. I like numbers and stats but I have so much going on right now I don’t have the time

It seems like serial number tracking is a pretty simple matter, and something that could be done directly on pinside.
