Been fighting this switch for a while now so I guess it's time to ask the pro's for help.

For some reason when I get the switch working it will work for a couple of hours and then will stop working again. I've now replaced both the micro switch and the diode. When I did that it worked for the rest of the day. Game was turned off for the night. Went to turn the game on the next day and the switch stopped working again. If you jump the switch it will work every time (but almost in a rapid fire type way). The switches in front and behind it in the matrix work 100%.

This is on a Batman DE and is the switch for the left VUK. Does anyone have any clue what the problem could be?

Switch clicks and when I put the continuity tester on it the switch shows it passes the signal through. When it stops working it wont do anything in switch test with finger or ball but you can still hear the click. If I jump the two wires together (not the diode connector) it will register. Really thought it was the diode but after changing with a good it still acts up. Overly odd part is if I don't hook a diode up it works too but assuming that would be bad to leave the diode off.

I'll give that a peak. Since all other switches work perfectly I thought they would be good but I'm up for anything. Assuming I just need to trace the switches in the row and column of the faulty switch, right?
