    I found this interesting...
Some folks talk about making pinball coffee tables here once in a while.

My right eyebrow twitched a little bit while that guy was cutting components off those boards with side cutters and drilling holes in the circuit cards.
But, I guess that is what we call "art".
It was unique and the general idea has potential.

It's neat but I think it would look better in a more modern table. Possibly something metal to make it look like a machine.

I like it, shame it didn’t work out 100%.
Do you do clear coat playfields for Stern and JJP? Just kidding.
I like the wood and metal.

All that trouble to drill out the LED casings and put fiber optics in there, and.....*shines a light through a hole in the side of the table*

I have seen a lot of circuit cards coated in rubbery plastic stuff.
Not sure exactly what that coating is, but it does not come off...
Vendors do it on relays and other electronic equipment for outdoor substations in areas that have bad environments for electronics.
The coating can guard against moisture, salt spray, dust, caustic mist or other things harmful to electronics.
You have to pay extra to get that coating added.
So, if a card goes bad under those circumstances, you just get a new device with new coating and rock on.

    What a great idea.
