Quoted from LTG:

The JJP warranty is parts not labor. ( as is other pinball manufacturers )
Some distributors provide a service call or extended warranty.
There have been some occasions where JJP may pay for a tech's visit to correct a factory defect. That decision would be higher up the ladder though, I have no say in it.
LTG : )

Lloyd- By all accounts, you're the nicest guy and the most helpful guy in the pinball tech arena. But let's not forget-- This guy paid 9K. 9K! I think a little more accommodation is appropriate and a little less condescension from the man who made it.

Quoted from jazc4:

The warranty may say "Labor not included", but Stern and JJP are going to send someone at no cost to fix a game just unboxed if it can't be fixed over the phone. That's just good business. It's also good business to have "Labor not included" in the warranty to keep from losing too much money by having to pay a tech for a house call for a simple "loose connector".

Is this a squeaky wheel thing? So basically if you scream, shout, dance on your head and demand for a tech to come over, you might get one. But if you "play by the rules" because the warranty says "labor not included", you get air? That doesn't seem right.

Labor should officially be included on a 9K game. If JJP was making money at $6500 a pop, then they must be rolling in it at 9K a pop. There should be an official, embedded (not a you must have a temper tantrum type situation to get it) labor warranty on any $7500+ game. That pretty much covers JJP and Stern LE's. If you can't offer that, then I'm sorry, but your business is not economically viable.
