Quoted from CraigC:you can remove the spray paint with goof off. I did this on a stenciled and spray painted Dirty Harry cabinet with amazing results. The cab was covered with spray paint (at least 3 colors), latex painted stencils, then glue and then glued on gorilla fur. They make graffiti remover but straight original goof off (new cans have a changed formula) worked the best.
