It's actually got a gerbil to keep power running when not plugged in
battery installation video for those unclear and/or unsure how it gets inserted (without bending / breaking the battery holder)
it appears that I inadvertently used the default image (instead of my custom one with a few settings saved). some of you may have noticed that the buttons are not mapped correctly
to remedy this, go into the menu by pressing button '4' (the furthest rightmost button), and then press button '2' repeatedly (2nd from the left) until you reach the 'tools' menu
press button '2' repeatedly until you get to the 'buttons' option, and then press button '1' (left most) to enter that option. press button '2' again to select the 'reversed' option, and then button '1' again to save your changes
the buttons will now correspond to the on-screen menu options
I highly recommend that new owners take a few menus to download & read the .pdf guide of all of the menu options available

note:
after making the above change, you will see an inversed 'R' in the lower right corner of the display when you power up your clock

I show that of the 21 clocks that were shipped:
- 15 have been delivered (including 1 earlier today)
- 2 will be delivered today
- 2 will be delivered on thursday, dec 13th
and for the 2 that are flying to the other side of the globe (australia), one has left the usa via the LAX (los angeles, ca) international airport while the other has departed from o'hare international airport out of chicago, il

I just want to say how rediculous and absolutely un pinball like this is. I ordered Sunday. Said it would come Thursday usps still said would come Thursday and came today. What is wrong with you? It’s not supposed to come on time and definitely not early !!!

an issue that one of the recipients of this batch noticed was that their clock was not working upon receipt (it simply displayed 4 bright horizontal lines)
should this happen with your clock, remove and re-insert the SD card to ensure that it is making contact in its socket. I think that torbjorn may have changed suppliers (or been offered comparable parts) because these do not have the same feel as with previous batches

it looks like all of the clocks have reached their destinations except the 2 going to austalia
the one that took the LAX (los angeles) route is in australia, while the one going through ORD (o'hare in chicago) has now departed dubai and is on its way to the land down under

Currently I'm Green for the Holidays!
It was just on yellow for 5-6 months. I find yellow most pleasing on the eyes long term, and it shows the animations really well.
Purple is fun and teal works. Red is dead and hurts the pupils.
it's a shame that the panels weren't able to produce a yellow/amber color that looked like the older plasma dmd's
the first clocks that I produced used dual color LEDs (red-green) and when you selected both, the color looked exactly like the high voltage plasma displays found in the first pinball machines
