I just got my prototype board built and tested for a replacement to the SAD4096 that is commonly found dead on the Say It Again board in Centaur pinball machines. It works and I'm now ready to move it into production and sell some if anyone is interested in it. Basically, this is a board that plugs into the socket for the original SAD4096. Based on the design originally done by Mark Whiting, this uses the more common MN3205 reverb chip. The results from this board sound identical, as the only real difference between the original and the MN3205 are the voltages used. It looks like I can do these $60 + shipping (should be the $5 flat rate box from USPS), but before I put the time into an exact cost I wanted to see if anyone had interest. All replacements will be "burned-in" before shipment to guarantee that they properly work. I'll be providing a 90 day warranty against defects. Attached is a picture of the adapter board plugged into the Say It Again board, along with a video of the effect it restores to your game.
