This is an Interactive Godzilla replacement for the stock Godzilla figure. Thanks to everyone who provided feedback and suggestions during development.

Features:

-Detailed Godzilla Figure mounted to a bolt-in clear plastic
-Microcontroller driven movement and lighting
-Head moves from sided to side
-Body moves forward and backward
-Atomic Breath LED

Modes (See videos below):

-Bridge Attack Mode: Triggered when the bridge coil is fired. Body movement and Head/LED follows the length of the bridge.
-Building Collapse Mode: Triggered when the building moves up and down using an opto sensor. The head turns towards bridge, body movement and LED fades in and out.

Installation:

Installation requires removing/replacing the existing Godzilla and plastic on the top side. Underneath the playfield you will install the controller, power supply, opto sensor and bridge coil sensor. You will need experience working under the playfield and be comfortable installing and adjusting sensors. If you don't feel qualified, please enlist the help of a pinball tech. A 20 page instruction manual with many pictures will be provided. If you get stuck, reach out and I will assist. Finally, if you don't get it working or don't like the mod for any reason, return it in good condition and I will return your money.

Cost:

The cost is $365 plus $15 shipping in the US. If you are outside the US, I will ask for an address and charge actual shipping costs. Building these is time consuming. I will be making them in small batches and contact each Pinside user for payment via PM once yours is ready. If I don't hear from you within 3 days, I will move to the next user on the list.

Wow! That’s amazing. Seems like it should have been there from the factory. I love that it’s triggered when the building falls. Will it be for sale?

Thanks for the kind words. I'm thinking it needs a little more movement. I'm going to try to see if I can get some body movement as well.

Wow, awesome job!

I totall agree with titusp. It looks factory and how it should've come with the game. Which is the ultimate goal of a modder, making it look like it's factory.

If there were 1 thing I'd try to add, it would be the blue electric heat ray from his mouth. That would take this over the top! Maybe 2 blue and 1 white, super bright pin hole LED lights that go off during game game play, and especially when the building collapses.

I just updated the video link to show the latest version. In addition to the head movement, the body can now move back and forth. I like this version better. It still needs more coding, maybe I will randomize the movements. Also, the red LED was replaced with a larger blue one, thanks for the suggestion @pinfidel.

Looks amazing...will be interesting on the coding side to how it interfaces to the game. I like how the blue "flame" hits the bridge and building - could be timed prior to their collapse. A mechanized Godzilla should have been in the game from the get go. Nice job dpannell.

Thanks everyone for the interest and feedback/suggestions. I have a development update.

- Movements updated. Head and body now moving more slowly/realistic.
- New trigger added. When the bridge coil fires, Godzilla sprays the bridge with his atomic breath. The head/LED moves along the length of the bridge.
- A 2nd unit has been built. It will be installed soon on local machine to validate the install process.

I've updated the videos in the first post to show the new movements and the bridge motion. I have updated the wait list with everyone who posted here or sent me a PM. I should be able to start building the first batch(5 units) in the next week.
