I just finished installing them on my new TAF playfield. I opted to use a molly bolt puller. I use a felt covered piece of wood, run the bolt (which I had to order because local stores did not have one long enough in 6-32 or 8-32) through the playfield and through the t-nut. I add a washer the size of the t-nut and a wingnut. Then the puller literally pulls the t-nut straight in. I tried just using thee bolt and tightening it but could not get it pulled in tight enough. I found that the hex nut bolt was better than the phillips head though. It is a lot slower than hammering and probably overkill but I am babying this first playfield swap. Also, for the recessed t-nut holes I used a 1/2" forstner bit to remove just the clear from the recess and it worked good.
