Hi everyone

In preparation for a hardtop, I have a Taxi playfield completely stripped, sanded, and cleared. Any general tips/words of encouragement on installing the lamp braid back on my Taxi playfield? I have the tools I need and a boatload of pictures. My biggest concern (obviously) is causing a short. Sure, I could've left the ground braid on, but what's the fun in that!?

Thank you

How about a multi-meter on the Resistance position? That will tell you immediately if you have a short or not (don't insert bulbs yet).

Yes, this.

And have all the mech's rebuilt and available as you're installing the braid. Test fit the mechs before stapling the wire down to make sure there is clearance.

Once you're done, get the multimeter out, set it to continuity, and buzz tone everything out (lamp braid to everything else it shouldn't be touching).

Makes perfect sense. Thanks for the responses!
