Williams, 1993I realize this may sound stupid and it should not be this difficult but I am having a hard time getting a translight on the glass with the molding. When I get it centered and start putting on the top molding it is so tight that it shifts. Is this normal. Any tricks.
Start at one side and push the trim against the edge of the glass and move from that side to the opposite. It should fit tight, but once you get one edge on it should hold it for the other 3 sides.
EDIT: You can try using that blue painters tape to hold it on 3 sides until you get the first edge on. Then remove the tape from the next side you install trim on and so on until you are done.
There are two sizes that are sold for the trim--3/16" and 1/8". Are you sure you have the right size?
