    Yes, have a knife, flash light, etc. ready and take the time to unwrap and carefully inspect. The driver shouldn't mind waiting 10-15 minutes as long as you're respectful of his time. You're not only looking for obvious exterior damage but also if the machine was set down hard/shocked, e.g. if the backglass has fallen out of the backbox or any cabinet seams are separated. You can also look inside through the coin door but there really isn't much to see in the lower cabinet.
