hi guys, on my "The Card" in the middle of the floor, the red insert is slightly lower than the playfield, how can I fix it?

There are a lot of Pinside topics on this subject. The best resource I have found is Vids guide to playfield restoration thread. Pretty much everything play field is covered. Along with the many ways lowered inserts are fixed. Along with tips about how to remove and re-glue them without breaking them. Good luck.

Interesting game... does it say "The Card" on the backglass? I also noticed it says "The Card" on the playfield in the "MFG'D BY" artwork. IPDB says the Italian version of "Lucky Hand" was "Lucky Card".

that's right, it's the Italian bootleg version, unfortunately I don't have the glass

The images on the IPDB are the machine I have in the restoration queue here in Australia. PF is missing the target bank. The cabinet artwork is not original and I have always wondered what it looks like .

Paolinux, would you be able to post some images ? This would be much appreciated. Thank you.

I just removed and flattened out 20 warped 'arrow' inserts on a game this week, only second time I've removed inserts. Used a hair dryer on high from underneath a couple of inches away for about 20 or 30 seconds to soften the glue, then carefully pushed them out. You have to use a little force, it won't just plop out. You don't want to hammer it out as it may break some of the plastic off of the sides. Then you can reset it in the hole with glue making sure to adjust it if needed so it is flush with the playfield again all the way around before letting the glue set.

I've used the hair dryer technique quite a few times, but I usually take a wooden dowel close to the same size as the insert and gently tap them a bit to get them started once they're warm. The only time I had one crack was when I didn't heat it first (I was in a hurry)....the sides of the insert stayed in the hole - had to drill it out with a Forstner bit. So much for being in a hurry.

This is the method I use, but it’s just one of many ways to handle this issue.

TheEMScoreKeeper.com has them in multiple sizes. Only $5 a kit. Free shipping.
