For about the last year I've been experimenting with using silkscreens to repair portions of playfields. I believe that they offer something that other techniques don't; easy, repeatable, clean, insert borders. What I would like to know is if there is any interest in the pinball community for pre-made silkscreens for common insert shapes and sizes. And if so, what a reasonable price might be.
Since it seems that each playfield has a different line thickness (4mm, 5mm, 6mm, etc.) and there are a LOT of different shapes and sizes, what might a product consist of? Keep in mind that you really need to wash/dry the silk between each use and each silkscreen can be used many times. I was thinking of something like sets of circles consisting of 4 1-inch, 4 3/4-inch, 4-1 3/16 inch. Or various specialty shapes, arrows, triangles, hot dog, and such.
