We've seen many new ideas and innovation in pinball within the last 5-6 years; LCD screens, Bluetooth integration, full LED lighting and more. With more companies competing for your cash, the pressure is on to deliver new and exciting ideas to keep players interested and also introduce more people to the hobby.
What ideas, features or designs would you like to see introduced in new pinball machines? If you can't think of any, what would you like to see more of in new games?
Personally, I'd like to see a "maintenance guide" built into new machines. The game would track the number of plays and suggest maintenance steps on start-up when it reaches a certain amount of plays. For example, after a few hundred plays the machine would suggest cleaning the playfield the next time it starts up. It could also tell you when to replace balls, change rubbers, rebuild flippers, etc.
Thanks!
