I purchased a couple of Ingo's (german-pinball) DMD Savers a few months ago, and since there may be some pinsiders who still have not heard of this, I put together a video that briefly describes what the DMD Saver does, as well as how to install a version 2 DMD Saver. Vid also posted an excellent review a while back that has more info on the various versions.

Would love to hear from some people who have this and if it really does make a difference.

I finally got my Jurassic Park pinball and figured I would start off by doing some mod install videos!!

Here is my first go at it with an install video for the DMD Saver version 2 by german-pinball

Will this do anything for a DMD that's just starting to go? I have a few animations that are just starting to give way. But its only one a few of them for some reason. Really don't want to replace the DMD.

Is this needed/compatible with the latest ColorDMDs that just came out?

colordmd uses either LCD or LED panels depending on the version you get.
As a result; the plasma isn't present in those displays.

Has anyone used a DMDsaver on an early SAM Stern? I’m trying to determine the best 5v source for the board and haven’t found any version 1 install tutorials yet.
