short story im working on this alvin g soccer ball pin... seems like when i fix onething something else goes wrong.
one coil and two flashers does not fire, now i tested the coil to make sure it works and its fine.
so i figured well why not swap one of the "8255" chips with another on the board to see if that might be the issue...

so after i did that, the coil worked fine... but i could not start a game cause the chip i swapped it with works on the switch matrix. swapped it all back, and i could start a game fine again , but alas the coil and 2 flashers still dont work.

now i need to find one of these chips.
are there any alternatives or bootlegs i could use for this. cause i see there is a 8255a chip from searching online but not sure if its the same thing?

hope im posting this in the right section on the forum...
thanks for reading, hope someone here knows abit about this stuff.
