Quoted from Ricochet:

Well shit! You know that has been in the back of my brain since day one! I’ve always thought... I wonder if this is going to be too tight ?
Easy fix. THANK YOU!

I wonder if its worth putting thin PTFE (teflon) tape on the sides of the payfield? you can get it .005" thick with heavy duty acrylic adhesive which should not impact fit or tightness. That way it will not damage side art?

Quoted from Ricochet:

Thank you! I still have a bit to go... but it sure feels good now. I've determined that I went a bit overboard with many things... but in the end... because it is my most favorite title and its the machine I'm planning to keep forever ... I'm good with the extra time and money. I don't think I'll ever do another to this level. The next one I want to do is either CFTBL or TAF... but I'm gonna need a break after this one
There are a lot of parts in this one... As soon as I got this machine I started getting stuff for the restoration years ago in advance of the actual project. So when you get your project... take your time and spend your money on the stuff that is most critical. Also I've learned you really don't know all that what you need until you start the tear down... its easy to see the big stuff... its the little crap that will nickel and time your project to death!

Yes I hear ya, i have a hard time spending a large chunk of change at one time but then i'll nickle and dime myself to death over the long run but that doesn't seem to phase me as bad as an initial "buy". I guess that's why i will always prefer players or project condition over fully shopped/ restored.
