    Yep --
    Very rare for these to actually fail. More often they get broken off than go bad.
    The ones linked would pretty much look like a 'kluge'.
    A Bourns 5800-4R7-RC would work. Axial style but still doesn't look like originals (which are tough to find).

    Or... just use a stout wire.
