I may have this weekend off. YA! a first in long time.
I see the 3-day pass on the ticket site.

    How do I buy this?
    Combo #1 Includes:
2 Main Cards, 2 Classic Cards, 1 High Stakes Card
    $100 (a $120 value)

How does a card tourney work? How many cards should someone buy, or how many can you buy? How many cards can you play, say in the High stakes division?
    Help, confused.
    Looking forward to event!!
    Thanks Eric

Last year the arcade games were off. They used that room to the right of the entrance to stage the pinball tournament. I wasn't in the tournament, but I thought it worked out pretty good.

approx 40 arcade games have been moved/relocated into the bar/dining area and will be avail for public play. mostly standard cabinet sized games. familiar titles.

The combo, and all entry purchases, are on-site and cash only.

On each card you play 5 games in Main or 4 for any of the other divisions. The scores you get on the games are ranked against all other submitted scores for those games and given a point value, then those 5 (or 4) point values are totaled up for your final card point value. That final card value is what ranks you in the tournament. You may play as many cards as you like, however, only the card with the highest point value will be used in the qualifying rankings. The catch is that all of your submitted game scores on each card WILL continue to be used to determine point values on each game. It is possible to have a good enough streak of games on a single card and qualify via that card, although the odds of that are slim. The format rewards consistent play.

Take a look here at the Northwest Pinball Championship qualifying standings from this year to see an example of how the format counts games/cards: https://www.neverdrains.com/nwpc2018/playerIndex.php. They used 4 games for their cards in the Open tournament which is what we'll have for Classics / High Stakes / Women's / Kids.

I'm having a hard time getting the schedule opened up to get there, but working on it. Either way, I'll hit the Expo in March for sure.

If anyone could get a chance, could you let me know if the Gottleib Paradise EM is up and running? It has been down on my last several visits and I really want to get some playing time on that one. It is one I am interested in adding to my collection but I want to make sure it is fun to play. In the looks department, it is IN.

Where is that one I will check it out. Gottlieb paradise.

I am going later today. I'm going to play a lot of pinball. I can check it out.

We delivered a Primus late last night for the festival. Enjoy

Its somewhere along the long row of EMs (that runs lengthwise), more towards the back. You can't miss it, look for shaking the hula girl in the backglass. I have plans for her.

The gottlieb paradise is not working as of yet but I was told it will be fixed.

The show was pretty good, IMO.

The bulk of the activity was in the arcade building which was fully modified space wise to accommodate the INDISC tournament.

I liked this, it kept the pinball area attendance lower.

I heard a lot of compliments on the way the tournament was running. From players.

Overall, I had a great time.

I plan on going back in March for arcade expo, but also if I get lucky, maybe again tomorrow...

Thanks for the update! Sounds like it is wide open in the main room for anyone looking for a pinball overdose.
