Are the same amount of machines available to play in January as there are during arcade expo?

    #7 6 years ago

Same number of pinball machines available to play as Arcade Expo (approx 550!). However, the Video Games will be off due to the tournament setup.

    Happy Thanksgiving!

    #8 6 years ago

Tickets booked, looking forward to it.

I see that you have three hotels listed. Which one do you recommend? We would like one that is close to the venue and near a couple of restaurants.

Do you have vendors at the museum that sell food and drink? Is alcohol available at the facility? Is there any other details we should know? Thank you

    #9 6 years ago

Let me add one more. In the Pinball madness post someone mentions that the quality inn was unavailable due to fire but it still shows up on google. Is this hotel available to rent a room? Thank you

    #10 6 years ago

There will be a couple food and drink vendors at show. No alcohol.

We will also provide a local restaurant list at the show.

Museum staff recommends the Holiday Inn as best place to stay.

    Hi all ...

If anyone who’s coming to INDISC this weekend has a wand/flatbed scanner and can scan a little 4” portion of one of the playfields there for me, let me know!

    Cheers!

If it's a Bally or Williams machine, I'm sure Mr. Personality will help you.

A small licensing fee may apply.....

It worked out great to head over there Sunday just to play some pinball. I got there right at 9 when it opened, and from about 9 to 10 or 10:30 there were no more than maybe a dozen or two people there. That's right, a giant hall with 500 pinball machines that was practically empty. I filled up on all of the new games first, then later when more people started coming in they mostly gravitated there so I still could play all the other stuff at will with basically no waiting. This time I played 63 different machines, I didn't make my record of 80 which I did on my last visit. But I played multiple games on a lot of them since there was no one waiting. What a great pinball place.

    #38 6 years ago

    A great weekend of pinball.

Thanks to Jim and Karl and all the volunteers... without whom there would be no pinball.

    Cheers
    Dave.

On behalf of the Museum of Pinball, John Weeks and the volunteer staff, it was a pleasure to welcome INDISC, the top 100 players, plus 600 other tourny players and spectators for the 2018 festival. Did we blow the roof off of PINBALL or what!

Congrats to the entire pinball community!

What a great show. Chuck couldn’t have been nicer to us and he runs a great event. We were able to play a bunch of machines we have never seen before including a Big Bang bar!
