I hope all of the area places to play pinball are doing okay and will be able to reopen soon.

I hope so too. I think the longer this shutdown business continues, the harder the hit is going to be for a lot of small business including pinball locations
Quoted from Bud:pinball.....COVID-19.....sad times and hard times. I miss the good times, I miss good people.
No shit dude, your pinball collection rocks! As soon as go north to see my son I'll make sure to come over and have a beer or two

me too Bud
I just read in the Indy Star that the Sinking Ship has closed for good. Very sorry to hear we lost a pinball location.
Another mandatory 3 week shut down starting tomorrow. Just opened back up a month ago and now this....
Sad news, I sold my route and all but three of my pins. We have terminally ill family and having to move on the quick. Indianapolis has been real good to us, pinball will carry on in Indy and the pinball people in this city are second to none. Thank you to everyone who has helped build the scene to what it is, you will be missed.

Bud, you have definitely been the leader for location pinball in Indianapolis, can't tell you how much I will miss you!! Wish you nothing but the best going forward man, really sad to hear you have to move. Thank you for everything!!
Agreed. Bud your pins are in amazing shape and clearly shows your passion for this hobby. Good luck with everything!

All the best, Bud... all the best...
Take care of what's important...
So sorry Bud. Things certainly won't be the same and you'll definitely be missed. All the best to you and your family.

Hey Bud,
Thanks for doing so much for us pinball enthusiasts over the years. Your games were some of the nicest I've ever played. Good luck with your family situation. You will be missed.
Sad to hear. Thanks a million Bud for all you've done to help Indy pinball. I've introduced several friends to the hobby on your machines.
I'm gonna miss you alot, man. It was so great getting to know you after that drunken night in that dive bar in broadripple.

So sorry to hear that Bud, you completely transformed the Indianapolis pinball scene. My prayers are with you and your family and if I can do anything please let me know. Hope to see you soon-come out and stay if you need a break or time away from things?
Bud,
You'll be missed.
It was good having you in the pinball community here.
Go take care of your family...God speed.
Had a nice farewell get together the other day. It was real nice seeing everyone that was there, covid/city forced an occupant limit we maxed. Masks were temporarily removed for picture. I haven’t seen some people since COVID-19 hit. You all will be missed for sure.

It was a fun night... sorry I missed the picture...
Good luck, sir... you have planted many seeds you don't even realize...
I never got to meet you but Jeff at tappers told me about you when I told him i thought tappers had the best condition pins I'd ever played. That Indiana Jones is amazing! Last I checked I was still 3rd on it lol. I'm guessing that's one you kept.
Good luck on the move
Pins Mechanical--that's a chain and the machines aren't owned by a local Pinsider? Some of the machines need some love and basic cleaning.
Oi
Wife and oldest in NYC till Mon.
Open door invitation. Got a seriously dank sack ha, let's fuckin party.
A handful of super cool folks put some machines in at the AMP off Indiana ave. https://www.pinvaultindy.com/escape-pod-at-the-amp-new-location

Was visiting Indianapolis this past weekend with my brother and we stumbled upon the 16-bit location near our hotel around opening time on Sunday.
I was impressed by the selection of arcade cabs and the fact that they were largely in great working condition.
Didn't have time to play the pin selection (I think there were 4 newer machines near the entrance), but I came away impressed.
Nice job.
Just like 16 Bit. Fuck these national chain big pocketed Chad mfs
PinVault, Tappers, Loom, Black Circle, Fountain Square Brewing, I could go on.
Many many better choices in Indy.
Probably a Patriots fan anyway.
Quoted from supermoot:16 bit is a lame out of town company. Hit up tappers next time.
Glad you had fun tho!
Hey pally can you get some CORPORATE PINBALL SUCKS t shirts made?
Postin here to maybe reach some new people, but I'm hosting a cool event this saturday (july 29th) it's a pub crawl tournament where we keep going from one place to another around fountain square, full details here:

Quoted from Agent_Hero:Is the Fountain Square Pinball Classic a tournament only with no free play area?
It is indeed a tourney only, but it's easily the best tourney of the year-- and I say that as an organizer of tournaments in Indy! It's a super fun day of pinball, food, drink, and making friends, and if you have the time there's a million worse ways to spend a Saturday.
Unsure how much traffic this topic still gets-- but I wanted to drop it here that the second season of Tappers League is starting this Wednesday 3/20 at 6:30p! No entry cost, just coin drop on games, 5 games of group matchplay for 8 weeks and I drop your two lowest scoring weeks-- ton of fun, friendly to all skill ranges, only requirement is a good attitude!
I haven't talked to Bud for a few months but last night he texted me a Pinside ad for a complete Indy 500 ramp set which I immediately bought cause BUD IS STILL THE BEST.
