Brand new forum member here so I’m tagging this thread for interest and future reading. I’m an 80s kid so grew up in arcades and am just now kinda hitting the mid life “crisis” stage of wanting to do some more with arcades and pins.
Amazing forum you all have here.

We missed this by two days.
And my friend and I were commenting Wednesday that Bud has no Stern LCD games at Tappers.......
Quoted from Backyardace:Bud,
Will you be getting a new Black Knight when they become available?
Not planning on it, sinking ship will have one!
The making of the Tappers video with a drone.

I don’t think I’ve read that on Pinside before.
No, I know Nurk and wanted to share with those that may have not seen it yet.
I think it would have been cool to be there for the making of the video!
Quoted from Bud:Put in a mirrored backglass for the IJ at tappers, this really is a nice IJ, come check it out, it’s on the cheap at .50 cents a play too

Amazing collection. The last time I was at Tappers was probably a couple years ago, and I think there were only 4 or 5 pins. I was visiting my brother in Indy this weekend. We stopped by, and I was amazed to see the new room with 25 pins! All the games I played were working perfectly (except balls were getting hungup on the bear ramp switch on TAF).
4 Jersey Jack games, all the latest Sterns, BoP 2.0, that sweet looking I500, the three Chicago Gaming remakes, ToM, I could go on and on. Great location.

Just realized that
Stopped by Tappers last weekend to play in Fear’s tournament. Had a blast! Tappers lineup is incredible. Hopefully I can make it back. The Indy crew of players were great to play with too.

Indy looks good!
Interesting fact:
Mike Fulmer who worked as a prop maker on Star Wars, Star Trek, Indiana Jones, etc designed the National Model Aviation Museum in Muncie, Indiana.
Quoted from pin2d:I'm going to hit up Sinking Ship, Tappers, and PinVault tomorrow on a Saturday pinball crawl!
Nice. What time and where does it start? Might actually make this.

We're going to hit Sinking Ship around 3, mainly to play Black Knight Sword of Rage (I haven't played it yet), then drive downtown and to Tappers (hopefully say hi to Bud), then closing out at PinVault (with the peeps) before getting some food somewhere

LOL. I thought this was like a "sanctioned event". Didn't realize it was you and yer bros.
I'm inviting myself anyway, thanks.
Quoted from Gryszzz:League on Wed. Anybody have any BK3 tips?
Shoot the baby shield to the right of the shield lock to light lock. Lock ball in the shield lock. Do that three times. Back hand both those shots. Forehand will kill you. Shoot the flail when it’s the only thing lit to light modes at the shield lock. Backhand that too for safest shot. Shoot center standup whenever lit. Do that with right flipper.
STTNG. Always pick light lock on the plunge. After that hit the right orbit until your arms fall off. When you get multiball hit center scoop up the middle until your arms fall off.
T2. Hit ramps until your arms fall off. Shoot the head to start MB.
Simpson’s. Shoot the left ramp until your arms fall off. Shoot drops in the center to light locks at all saucers. Shoot saucers to start MB.
Popeye. Always plunge the lock ball skill shot. If that’s not available do spot item. Shot standups on either side of Pluto’s mouth to light locks. Shoot his mouth to lock balls. Three locks starts MB. Left ramp is jackpot.
Took 1st place on 3 outta 4 machines in my group with absolutely no help from any of Chuck's tips.
Saw that High Score in Evansville had 25 players tonight holy fuck! We have 12.
