I500 is a tough game. On our league night we have had some epic battles. Great sounds and dots. I don't get the shooter ramp though, that is the one thing Id change.

#58 10 years ago

I'd trade mine if anyone was interested. Plays great, cars in front of ramps have insert lift and typical fading.

In WH2O I know it says "come on, you weine" but I don't remember anything like that in Indy.

#77 10 years ago

EB target in WH2O should be collected in MB.

My I500 only gives one extra ball so haven't heard the "wanker" call out. Pretty funny. Good humor in I500, very Nordman.

It would be nice if someone made these decals.

appears that someone is.

Quoted from TurnOne:

To my knowledge, there are no replacement decals made or available for this pin. Probably due to the low production #'s (2249 according to http://www.ipdb.org/showpic.pl?id=2853&picno=12079).
There is a small scratch on either side, but hard to tell unless you are looking for them. Overall, I'm very very satisfied with the cabinet.

Rick at BAA had said they were going to be produced. I believe there was an issue with the art or colors.

Quoted from gweempose:

I got a response back from the eBay seller:

It sounds like all three springs are definitely there. I'd grab them while you can.

On my I500 one of the plastic interruptors was broken on an illuminated target. I drilled out the base of the target where the piece hangs down and glued in a flat switch actuator. It has worked flawless and is tougher than the original design.

Quoted from Pacer:

Has anyone made waterslide decals for the inserts up the center? I specifically need "Victory Lap" and "Extra Ball" for a low-level restore I'm doing.
I call this my "dueling drivers" setup... (well, I would if the second one was setup).
Thanks!

How was the teardown? I'm thinking about taking mine down over the holidays and doing some insert leveling.

Quoted from Pacer:

This one came to me torn down oddly enough. But I tore one down about 18 months ago. I don't recall anything too tricky.

Thanks. Wasn't sure how tricky the turbo mech was. Other than that everything seems pretty sure straightforward.

Why does change set up award light change set up? What's the fucking point of it awarding itself?

Broken target? No problem. Drilled it out and glued in a switch actuator

Quoted from ttown:

I am starting to feel like I need these as some sort of back up. Are the original ones not available? Am I insane?

The originals are difficult to find and the repros that came out had a different look and were more brittle IMO.

Whats the difference between the LED and ColorDMD option?

#750 6 years ago

I went LCD

Quoted from ellray:

I just fixed this on my game with Cliffy installed by removing the blue rubber stop. I could probably cover the metal scoop with something softer (but not bouncy!) to protect the balls, but I'll replace them periodically anyway.
My bounce-out percentage now seems to be about 10%. Honestly. I've actually taken down my CL ad to sell the game because I want to see what I can do with the turbo boost hole actually working.

replace the blue rubber with dead stop foam

#755 6 years ago
Quoted from 27dnast:

So adding a cliffy to the turbo area causes bounce outs?

It can. I've played some that were a pita to lock a ball.

Thinking of putting my Indy on the market. What is a player condition indy going for?

#764 5 years ago
Quoted from indybru:

Not sure but they seem to be in demand.
I think mine is in very good shape not much fade if any I was offered $4,000 . Can't sell at this time.

thanks

What do people think a fair price would be?

Quoted from mixmastapj:

I just bought one for 4400 :barf:
TBF, It had a great LED mod, powdercoated rails and legs, additional race car props, Cliffys, ColorDMD, etc.
Basically the 1k in upgrades I was going to do to a $3500 machine anyhow. If that's what it took to get a hard to find game, then it's what I had to do.

As long as it plays better than Chelsea.

#775 5 years ago

My Indy sold yesterday for asking price. Thanks for the pricing suggestions.

FINALLY!!!
After foolishly selling my last one to Dave from Flippers several years ago, this one is back in my collection. Thank you TaylorVA!

Right on man, happy to know it is staying in VA.
