What are your stacking strategies other than 3x scoring with multiball?

Quoted from stevevt:Pros
* Fast = fun
* Great dots (Splash me with fuel when I get a replay? Sure, why not.)
* Great sound, tons of custom speech callouts, and music
* Very cool shaker motor design
* Decently deep -- modes, multiballs, stacking, wizard goals
* Nicely integrated theme
* Replacement plastics available
* Dennis Nordman!
How can you forget the MB start light show!?!
I also really like the ramp shot to the upper flipper, like TZ.
Yours is the chromed out one from Gambit, who got it from Atlanta, correct? Looked very nice from the pics.
Quoted from markmon:I had a local artist paint my faded cabinet. Looks like new and cost around $150.
Looks great. Airbrushing the transition in colors would have been tough.
Quoted from TurnOne:Coming here to beg for an I500.
I have an Apollo 13 and $2000 cash for a nice I500. Or just cash. I really want a nice I500 and kick myself for not buying that one in Indy 2-3 months ago.
I live between Cincy and Dayton) will drive if needed. I really want this game.
Chris
Should we start a reverse auction? I'll sell mine for $4500. Do I hear $4400?
Looks good, but those are pretty limited pics. The scoops can get pretty chewed up, so I'd ask for pics of those I guess. See if there's a Cliffy on the turbo scoop.
Looks like he replaced the car with something else. A hotrod maybe? Otherwise it looks pretty good. Turbo plastic may be broken, but they are now available for sale individually.
Quoted from stevevt:Are you defining beating the game as getting all checkered flags in one game? Or all checkered flags overall? One checkered flag? Other?
I guess I don't really know - I was thinking starting all the modes. How many checkered flags are there?
Quoted from gweempose:I finally had a monster game last night where I accomplished all the major goals. I started all the modes, scored a victory lap, hit a super jackpot during multiball, completed the race (200 laps), and then hit another victory lap. I've been trying to do this ever since I bought the game, but this is the first time I pulled it off. I have my game set up to play very difficult, so it was no easy feat.
Wow, that's awesome.
Quoted from stevevt:2) Ignore the mode and hit the scoop again for another PIT letter or two. After you spell PIT, the center scoop will be lit again for another mode (assuming the mode you're in isn't a multiball).
I'm embarrassed to say that after a year and a half of owning an I500, I didn't know how to re-light the center scoop. My normal method has been to do so by letting the ball drain.
Quoted from TurnOne:Got my new car for the pit lane. How is the original one mounted? Can anyone post a pic or email me at turnwon @ hot m a i l dot com
The car sits on and is attached to a metal plate that is connected to the diverter. I'm guessing you're missing that piece.

I hope you get it! Then maybe I can trade mine for an AFM

Quoted from TZ:Ramps...need ramps...any one reproducing these?
You can still find NOS right ramps from Australia I believe.
Quoted from TZ:I didn't see any for sale. I do need the left plastic one if any one has any leads.
Until they get repro'd those are not available.
He found out very quickly. Not sure if he was on Pinside or KLOV, but it was pretty sad to see that even though the wrinkling was pretty minor (so far). The scoring technique and these new protectors seem to be great for decal'd cabs.
