Regarding the Cliffy protector, if you look on Cliffys website, he mentions that the ball stop has to be slightly straightened and bent at a different angle or the bounce outs do get worse. I started to try to follow his instructions but it looked like I was going to break the assembly (which is unobtanium) so I just removed the protector. I might try the one way gate from Marco.

I don't know of anyone making the ramps for Indy 500. The wire ramps seem to be just as rare. Maybe the ramp manufacturers could chime in. There may be a licensing issue.

Quoted from mollyspub:

Why wouldn't you want to put it back on if it fixed the issue? Where can I purchase this gate?
Getting close to joining the club

There is information on Cliffys website about minimizing the bounce outs from the turbo scoop. It involves bending the stop and sizing the blue rubber.

Quoted from roffels:

I was just reading this thread yesterday: https://pinside.com/pinball/forum/topic/re-cap-your-williams-sound-boards#post-6222581 - if your speakers look good (ie the foam around the speaker cone isn't destroyed), and the wiring/connections are good, I imagine the speakers are fine
I was a member of this club for less than 24 hours last month. Got a really great friends/family deal ($1200!) for an Indy that needed some minor board work. I had quite a bit of time on this machine while it was working, and ended up trading toward one of my favorites, BSD.

I'm just curious, did you dislike it that much to sell so quickly?

Pinballinc makes the target insert and the housing. I think someone else makes the board but I can't remember who.
