Wow! Love it! Thanks for sharing
Mine arrived today. Very fast shipping, like maybe 5 days. Unlike my parts from Planetary which (not their fault) seem to be stuck in LA for the last 12 days. Regardless, still want to powdercoat one gun and replace other with chrome, but the work in very nice and a good fit.
it is with great pride and great joy that I share with you the article from pinballmag France concerning this wonderful machine, friends.
thank you for your support around the project and thank you for your support for the votes of the twipys award in the best mod 2021 category!

It seems to be Rosewood grips. I would like to make somes in Rosewood, but its hard to find a beautifull...
Rio Rosewood is the best but very hard top get, protected species, and in France its most difficult to find than in the US. I have a beautyfull granadillo Rosewood but the havent the wide to make some grips...
To compare Gabon vs Philippines Ebony !
Gabon - very dark black color with a touch of grey and cream color
Philippines - vert dark Brown color with a touch of light Brown

My handles arrived today. I learned that these tape onto the metal handle and no gun screws need to be removed. Will probably order a second set in another wood to have variety. But I am very happy with the ones I chose. The added height makes the gun feel a bit snugger in your hand. That gives the game a feel of luxury imo.
Have you considered making replacement handles for Shadow? Stock comes in a solid grey plastic and best alternative I’ve seen looked a bit like pearl. But the wood might prove cool too.
You have bamboo legs too
Thanks for feedback. I havent original parts to make a run for shadow, i think that demand on it will be very low, i'll sée if i will make a run for them!
I design my grips i the aim of gun could be repaired if needed without removing the plates!
Vintage Oak and Zebra walnut are soldout.
New pairs will Comes, dont worry!
I just received my Gabon Ebony veneers today…
They are gorgeous and look really fantastic with my powder coat. I wanted a very dark finish… these are perfect.
I love the way they feel… they bulk up the grip a bit but in a good way… feels more like a handgun actually.
I’m picky about mods … this is a good one.

Yeah... my GNR's backstage kit took 3+ weeks to arrive from the other side of the world. It was held up in customs for over 2 weeks. It's all good!
