You're right, your post probably just got missed by being a reply in an existing thread. In my experience, there are lots of very knowledgeable members here who are more than willing to help a newbie out. Maybe next time try starting a new thread, or even try posting your question in the IJ owners club thread, where you'll get a lot more views from people who are very familiar with the specific problems this machine can have.
