Someone did this one a few years back on pinballmod.com

Quoted from KornFreak28:Oh yeah, now that’s a cool biplane isn’t? I think the miniature Henry Jones was hand-sculpted or 3-D printed though. If anybody can point me in the right direction we could probably make that happen
Yeah pretty cool, Indy is up front piloting too!
Quoted from KornFreak28:I don’t think Lior has time to be making miniature henry jones to be honest with you. He is swampped with work plus he’s got the Idol ruins mod going on
They were selling those on that site at one point. I was just thinking perhaps he knew who it was.
Yours are just fine, it was just an over the top example i saw a while back.
The wood propeller is more authentic looking since that aircraft did have a wood prop.
What I can’t determine is whether the aircraft in movie had white tips or stainless steel tips.
I’d have to find a clip of the movie to see.
Quoted from KornFreak28:If you find a pic, please post it....
Best I could find

You able to pull that off?
Quoted from KornFreak28:So I tried the tri-color biplane prop tip last night. My assessment is that it takes too long to make it look really nice. A lot longer than I want to spend on a single propeller. It has to be done in several stages, allowing each color to dry and possibly giving it a second or third coat before moving on to the second color and then the third. Just the wood color alone takes several coats and a long time to get it right.
I got 22 orders to fill, 41 planes in total. I just don't think this is the route I want to take when it comes to painting the propeller tips. I rather do a single color tip if that is something you like. I could do the wood tone on the blades and black, white, red, yellow, grey, green and 'possibly' chrome tips. I have given you guys plenty of options but this tri-color propeller tip will not be one of them, sorry. I'll gladly do a single color tip of your choice. The all chrome is also available. Thanks!
Any photos of wood with chrome tip?
Quoted from KornFreak28:I have not painted any wood colored prop tips with chrome yet. The problem is that I don't have spare propellers laying around to try different color combos. You pretty much need to know what color you want because I simply can't be trying all these color combos either. The wood color takes a long time to get it just right and I can't risk trying a chrome tip and then you guys possibly not liking it. That would ruin all the hard work I did on the wood color. So if chrome tips are what you really want, let me know. Hope you guys understand. Thanks!
I’ll stick with the wood prop and black hub.
Unfortunately this is what happens when you provide lots of options.
Better to keep it simple - your doing nice work!
Quoted from KornFreak28:I think CoPinFan requested the wood with chrome tip. I'll work on it tonight and post pics.....
Sounds good..just thinking out loud here but the wood with black tip would probably look pretty good as well.
Have you tried fitting the biplane with propeller spinning into the actual machine with glass on?
On mine it doesn’t look like there is a whole lot of room but with the angle of the glass it could be an optical illusion as well.
Wasn’t sure if the diameter of spinning prop is bigger than diameter of the original plastic piece.
Quoted from KornFreak28:About batch # 2: I had a few that went MIA on me. Disappointing. I have received several requests to replace them. I've already replaced two and will possibly be replacing one more today. I will do a headcount and assess the situation later today. I believe there is enough people for a possible batch 3 but that won't happen until I'm done with 1 and 2. If I don't have anymore MIA's and shipping and payment goes hiccup free, I'll start batch # 3. Unfortunately, due to the MIA situation in batch 2, anybody wanting to get on batch 3 will have to make payment upfront.
Biplane prop: Unless you request to have yours trimmed, I'll just leave it the way it is. Don't forget, that every game is different and that you will have to make adjustments when installing the biplane. If you wish to have your biplane prop trimmed just say the word, it's free of charge
If your able to trip the prop and have the same shape/finish, I would like that. I think the proper scale will look better, prop appears to extend well above the top wing.
I'm being picky but you offered! Lol!
Quoted from KornFreak28:Sure Looks like it does, doesn’t?
[quoted image]
I will take a slight trim. Hard to tell in the photo from that angle and the one you posted is from a game if I'm not mistaken, doesn't look real.
Quoted from KornFreak28:I just tested both planes hooked to the same flasher connector! I got Beautiful spin on both planes at the same time. You can, of course, also hook them to different flasher connectors I’ll test the left ramp next.....
Video...video!
Quoted from KornFreak28:I can’t post iphone videos and I don’t have a youtube account or whatever it’s needed....
Bummer! Looking forward to seeing them together.
If possible, I would try to trim enough off each side of prop so it isn’t any bigger than the round pos plastic one that came with biplane.
If it’s possible to get to this size, it will work with all mounts including airball protector at drops.
This should be the goal and it will probably be a 99% fit.
I forget what the size of wooden prop is in respect to original though.
Just thinking out loud here.
I wasn’t referring to the sides but each side of spinner.
If you take 1/8 from one tip you must take 1/8!from other.
If 3” worked on original then anything less will work with new props.
Maybe try to work some space for airball protector.
Quoted from Davi:Just a quick idea on one side.[quoted image]
The smaller diameter spacer does look better but think it should be black.
Quoted from Bskinner46:George I had a picture of IJ game on my phone with pinstadium lights. I can send you some more pictures when I get home
[quoted image][quoted image]
What kind of light are you using back by lost plastic and bridge?
Quoted from KornFreak28:For the most demanding plane owner! Still in the works: Cowling mounted machine guns just like the fighter plane in the movie!
Tested on my guinea pig plane. Looks very promising. Not a free addition.....We’ll see!
[quoted image]
Wow - that is pretty sweet!
Quoted from KornFreak28:How many of you would want cowling guns? I need to know
What gives the better effect? I will rely on your opinion
Quoted from KornFreak28:If it works out, I’m doing cowling guns on my own plane
I think cowl guns are more original to the actual plane. Keep us posted on how this works out. Your right, they both look good.
Did you determine the best location to wire these up to work as original does but with spinning props as well?
I understand there are several spots for different effects, but what works best in conjunction with what the dmd is doing?
Planes landed and look great!
Didn’t totally unpackage everything but does the fighter have two sets of connectors? Still bundled up.
Anyone do the install yet? What was the easiest and cleanest looking?
