Batch 3 update: Currently working on Jimmyhonda, Volkdrive and DonnieDarko's set of planes. Biplanes are pretty much done. Painted the fighter planes last night. Making good progress on them. Unfortunately, I had to skip Onwallst until he replies and lets me know what he wants done to his planes. I'll post pics soon. Hang in there Batch 3! Thanks!

I will be working in sets of 3 to try to get the orders out as quickly as possible. I’ve also been dialing in and working on my Pirates since I have less than 2 weeks left on my warranty. JJP has been stellar in their customer service thus far. I’ve identified a few issues right out of the box and doing some more investigation today and tomorrow. Should be fine once all the little kinks are taken care of

Both propellers spin at the same time

Thanks for the kind words! Batch 3: I know these are taking a little longer than expected but as I said before, I don't do this for a living. I work on them late at night when my family is asleep lol. I make these planes because I honestly love working on them. I really like getting all the little details right. If I don't like something, I do it all over again. The other night, I decided to redo the camouflage pattern on all 3 fighter planes just because I wanted to improve the look.

There are so many layers to these planes. The prep and painting, decal printing and installation, adding tension wires and landing gear to the biplanes, fighter pilot paint and install, 3D figures install, camouflage patterns (all the planes get a different look) building the propellers for both planes (and the Tiger moths) the motors, the wiring, led harness install, testing them on my machine (I don't even have planes in my machine because planes must be tested before they ship) and packing them for shipping! I don't even want to get into the shipping part of it, that takes me 2 hours per set, no kidding. I can't just toss them in the box with some bubble wrap. Planes have moving parts and are packaged with extra care.

Once I'm satisfied 100% with the look, I'll go on to the next stage of the build. I love the idea of my planes making your Indy experience a bit more enjoyable. These are the reasons why my planes take a bit long to make and why I don't charge anything upfront. I'm pretty confident I can get these 3 sets done this week. Unfortunately, Onwallst still hasn't replied to my PMs and that means everybody bumps up one spot until he tells me what he wants done to his planes. Hang in there Batch 3! Jimmyhonda, Volkdrive and DonnieDarko: I need you guys to PM me your address info and watch out for payment information via PM coming soon. I will try to ship your planes this weekend or Monday or Tuesday of next week. Pending testing and a few details, your planes are pretty much done!

Go ahead and perform the following tests on your machines:

Put your machine in test mode. Go to flasher test. Find the "Right side" flasher and activate it. Press down on your interlock switch to activate it. This test should make your Ruins flasher (dome on top of the ruins) go off.

Then find the "Plane/Superball" flasher and activate it. This one should make your fighter led's go off.

If you have these 2 flashers working properly, great. If your plane/superball makes your ruins flasher go off and/or vice versa, then the connections are likely reversed. This has happened to a few of my customers. Planes weren't spinning when they were supposed to and fighter led's were going off when they weren't supposed to. Reversing the connections fixed their issues. These 2 connectors are very close to each other and can get mixed up. The machine will not report any issues though. You will be using these 2 connectors for your planes. Let me know if you need any help. Thanks!

Thanks! Even though I haven’t posted that much recently, I’m hard at work trying to finish batch 3 asap. I’m aiming to ship 4 more orders in about 2 weeks and then get to work on the last remaining orders. I got a few tiger sets to complete after that and that will wrap it up for batch 3. I’ll post a few pics soon
