Wow! Awesome restore!!!
Quoted from Jimmyhonda:Please put me on list for batch 3!!!
Thanks! Batch 3 registration coming soon! Just follow the thread
Quoted from Cheeks:Does anyone want to take over my biplane that's in batch 2? There's still probably time to have it customized how you want it (prop, Indy figures, etc). I'd only ask for someone to cover the plane and custom LED harness Ricochet made, the rest you would pay to Korn upon his request based on what options you chose.
If I wasn't holding out for the Tiger Moth I'd be all over this!

If you decide to sell your biplane, whoever picks it up will also have to pay me extra. I have spent valuable time discussing your options, ect and I really don’t like the idea of going through it all over again with somebody else.
Whoever picks this up will have to pay me $25 extra on top of the labor and parts cost. Why are you selling your harness for? The harness is for the fighter plane.
This is the only time I will allow this. Anybody else wanting to do this, I will just ship your planes back undone and cancel your order. My life is complicated enough as it is and addding customers in the middle of the deal frustrates the hell out of me to be honest with you. Again, I’ll allow it this time only. Thanks!

Being a Fellow mod maker I have to agree with Korn on this one. I don't get committing to project and bailing half way thru.
I've seen this a bunch lately with other mod makers as well. JM run dmd clocks, Toyotaboy Fire Brackets. To much time and effort goes into these projects.
Sorry Cheeks, you have 6 years on pinside and 32 games, not like you didn't know what you were getting into.
I was not looking to cause such a stir or put anyone out. I was just trying to give someone else a chance to get this cool mod and maybe jump up higher in line. I wasn't looking to short anyone for work completed.
As for why I'm selling it, I'd rather not discuss it, but certainly not out of any disrespect or desire to profit. I misspoke about the harness, I forgot it goes with the other plane. I'll just keep it, pay whatever is deemed fair, and sell it after the fact.
I respect everything Korn is doing with these mods, appreciate the enthusiasm he's putting into it, and certainly don't want to come off as disrespectful or costing him anything. I'll delete my other post.

Thanks Cheeks! No worries man! Guys, If anybody wants his biplane go right ahead and get it now! If you were planning to buy a new plane from Marco, you will end up paying the same money anyway. 25 to me and the rest to Cheeks. This is a great opportunity to get a biplane now and jump right into batch 2 (biplane only). I can make you a fighter plane later if you get Cheeks’ biplane.
Cheeks explained to me his situation and I was cool with it but I do need to get some compensation for my time. With mods, it’s all about time. Time is very valuable.
Again, I’ll customize the biplane for you, there’s still time. You will end up paying the same money. Let me know!
Paul has been working really hard and the results are nothing short of amazing! After numerous email exchanges between Paul and myself discussing every aspect (specially fitment) of this awesome mod, a brilliant idea was developed by Paul to remedy Indy fitment under the stock biplane!
Paul developed an Indy figure with a Spacer behind it that allows it to replace the current spacer with this one. Tiger moth figures look great as well and as you can tell, Henry and the machine gun are now facing the fighter plane! Please note the wing strip and wheel covers!
Paul will soon post final prices and details. Awesome work Paul! Thanks!

I can’t wait to get mine!
Having guys like you two, make this hobby fun and more customized than ever.
Thanks Brett, and thanks again George for keeping everyone up to date.
Okay - so on to pricing. I'm afraid this is an instance where smaller doesn't mean cheaper! I've tried to keep the prices as cheap as I can, based on selling a batch that will hopefully cover all the development and production costs overall.
So...
1) The standard biplane set consists of Henry (which glues onto the rear) and Indy (which replaces the centre black spacer), plus tiny windscreen. Henry does sit slightly high, but fits under my play field glass ok (based on my standard stock plane). Cost $90.
2) The Tiger Moth set includes Henry, and Indy, plus wheel arch covers and top wing attachment strip as well as the tiny windscreen. Cost $110
The reason for the costs, simply put, is that these figures have been digitally sculpted by a professional designer and have been through several design re-loops to get the best fit and arrangement (trust me we've had several designs of these that we've tested). Then there is the print setup, time and materials. The preparation after print, followed by the priming and hand painting. It all adds up into quite a lengthy process, so hopefully you can understand the reason behind the prices. I've kept it in dollars for now, but that will be dependent on exchange rate to a certain degree.
Shipping is not included above, but George has kindly suggested I send the batch through to him, which should drastically cut the price, but if people want it shipped direct to them then I can get a separate shipping quote.
If you're interested, please state which plane and I will start to put together the list. I have 13 sets for tiger Moths which I assume are allocated to the current orders that George has, and 9 sets for the standard plane.
Thanks again for all the interest guys- and thanks again to George for kicking this project off!

You are welcome! In my opinion the prices are fair for the amount of work and time that went into these figures. I would not miss this opportunity to purchase these sets and put the cherry on top of the plane mods!
Yes, You can get the sets delivered straight to you OR I can install them for you. Once I have them in my possesion, I will determine how to install them and ship them the best way possible so they don’t get damaged during shipping, Specially Henry on the regular biplane.
There will be some extra work that must be done such as some patching, fitment, glueing and color matching (Henry red base) to the plane red color if needed. Unfortunately, this will take time and I may have to charge a few extra bucks for my time.
Once I install the first set, I’ll know for sure how long it takes and how much patching, glueing, color matching (if needed) and time it takes. At that point I’ll announce the install fee. It shouldn’t be too much.
You can, of course, install them yourself but you will have to disassemble your plane and remove the tension wires. I personally don’t recommend this. Up to you of course. You can also ask me to skip the tension wires to make it easier for you. No discounts for this, sorry.
If you want to install them yourself, I can include the figures in your plane package free of charge
Shipping them all at once, will save you guys on shipping charges for sure. Your call
As far as I’m concerned, all of you (except one) wants the figures. Please PM Paul and place your order ASAP! Planes are waiting
Please advise me which set you ordered. If you ordered a Tiger moth, please advise if you got both sets (regular and Tiger) or just one. Thanks!
Batch 2: Please remember that the figures were made based on your commitment. All of you posted your commitments here. I expect no cancellations. Thanks!

Quoted from DonnieDarko:Thanks for your work. I'll look forward to adding my name to Batch 3 please!
Thanks!
I'm in on the figures for the Tiger Moth. And, I'm in for the figures in my original bi-plane too.
Thanks guys... they look amazing. Nice touch for Indiana Jones pinball.

Awesome Kerry! I’m in for both sets as well
Quoted from keys88:I’ll wait for the figures to be installed on the Tiger Moth.
This is exactly what I’m talking about. Why did you commit to them and then back out?
Maybe for your batch 3 customers you should offer the same package for everyone. Keep everything the same and include the figures on all the planes. That would keep things allot simpler for you.

That would work great actually. This was something that happenned (thankfully) out of the blue. Planes along with 3D figures and airball protector make for an awesome plane package!
Quoted from CoPinfan:I'm still in for a set of figures for the tiger moth to be installed by KornFreak28. Thanks!
Thanks! Please PM Paul to place your Indy and Henry order
Just checked fitting of the standard plane with the figures and it fits in my machine fine. Note this is the stock plane with no prop mech fitted. As George has mentioned there may be differences across machines, but I wanted to show that although Henry sits above the top wing he still fits under the glass. This is without an additional airball protector plastic.
For those that have messaged me I’ll be sending payment details tomorrow (uk time).
Thanks.
@Jazzbouche... that looks really good! It just adds a nice layer of Fun Factor, over the stock looking plane.
Thanks for sharing your picts.

Nice job!
For everyone that has messaged me, I've sent you payment details. Once I have the full batch paid for I will ship it to George, and let you all know once he's received it.
Thanks for all the lovely comments in your messages. I'm really pleased with how these have turned out! Have a great Christmas/Holiday when you get there.
Paul
Plane assembly in full force
First sets out will be Ricochet’s, Tonycip’s and Glen’s since they opted out of the 3D figures
Btw, no more pure white on any planes (including Tiger moth) moving forward. All planes will be light grey from now on

Quoted from CoPinfan:Maybe I missed it somewhere. But what is the reasoning for changing the color to light grey?
Plane in the movie is not 100% white, decals look better on light grey and white takes me a lot longer than any other color. Besides, I never actually ‘changed’ the color to light grey. All batch 1 planes, including yours, are light grey. I wanted to venture out a little and try the pure white but It’s not something I’m going to pursue anymore. In order for white color to look nice, it has to be airbrushed, Another time consuming experiment I’ve decided to discard.
Those 2 white planes you see (and 1 Tiger moth) gave me so much hell! The brush strokes look horrible when using the white color and are impossible to avoid (at least for me) after a while, paint starts building up, I was never satisfied. I had to sand the paint off and start all over again several times. They took a lot longer than anticipated. I had to airbrush them both and that also took a lot longer than I’m OK with.
I’m NOT changing anything. Light grey has always been the color I’ve used. Brushing has always been the method I’ve used. I just tried a few different techniques and one different color and I didn’t like the experience and the time it took to get nice results.
So, no changes here, just not going to experiment with airbrushes and colors anymore
Check out this beauty eh? This is the white Tiger moth I was talking about. Loving the Tension wires and window!
Needless to say, Paul’s package includes a window for both sets. This is just a little something, something I tried on the side for my own Tiger. I think it looks great! You guys know I’m always full of surprises

Quoted from brett:Tiger moth looks fantastic.
Thanks Brett! Yours will look just the same! Just waiting on the 3D figures. Your tiger is painted and cleared already
Quoted from CoPinfan:Ok gotcha. I guess the grey next to the pure white just looked really dark.
Exactly. The grey you got is exactly the same as in the pics
