    Game randomly goes dead when playing and posts 50017 rev L-7 . The restarts. I worked over battery holder as there was some corrosion.

    That's a game reset. It's a common issue for WPC games. Basically, the voltage drops, which causes the MPU to reboot, but that voltage drop can have a number of different causes.

    Get rid of the Z-connector. I had a similar issue and Thanks to @zaza, my resets went away!

    +1. Same with me on my Twilight Zone... Z-connector caused the voltage drop.
