I did the full CoinTaker LED kit and added Disney figures, custom cards, and orange superbands. The Arc multi-ball is one of the best multi-balls in pinball with trying to not lose all the balls when they cascade out of the arc. I also added a slow color changing LED to backboard lighting right above the Arc. It gives a nice glow off the top of the Arc.

Are all the GI lamps white? I still have all regular bulbs in my game. Getting time to upgrade to LEDs likely beginning of next year. Too many other things have been taking my money lately.
Hoping to make a deal on an Indy and join the club today! It's a routed machine but seems to be in great shape and play well. What do you think is a reasonable price?
Quoted from billsfanmd:huo seem to max out low 4s American $. Routed high 3s
Thank you very much. He quoted me at 4500 Canadian so that seems about right.
Quoted from Pinhead306:Do you have a file of your custom apron cards cards?
just joined the club, found a real nice one,
played the game on vacation, a poorly working one but still love ij
after some tweaking and a little cleaning this one plays great!

Quoted from jorro:just joined the club, found a real nice one,

Ive enjoyed playing this on route. Seems to not get much love here on pinside. But i liked it. I dunno if id want it long term in my small game room, but if i had more space.... Or if/when i take over the downstairs living room. Hehe

I never understood the allure of the williams indy. Maybe ive never played one that was dialed in. Ive played a few and they seemed prone to cheap drains

I picked one of these up this July! I probably overpaid a bit at 4k for a routed game. Its in good to fair shape and plays great. It seems the Sterns are hard to find due to low production maybe? I had been looking for one for some years. I also have a Williams IJ that has had a high end resto. So I am fortunate to have them both in my collection. I like the Stern game play just fine. I have it at our Church and the kids love it when the Ark dumps four balls on the playfield! Sound overs could have been a little better in my opinion but other that that its a keeper for me!
Selling an awesome IJ LED Lighted Topper. High quality, made of metal. Send me a message if interested.

Just added this 2 owner, HUO IJ4 with 150 plays on it. Excellent cond, almost mint. Found some great mods I highly recommend for cheap...fertility gold idol magnet for $10 bucks. Dr. Jones’ mini grail diary for $11 bucks. And, my proudest discovery I was going to keep quiet so my pin was unique...but tell me these Iron Maiden hieroglyph blades aren’t perfect for our IJ4s??
Going to be fun modding this one out!

I always thought that the ark was really missing the bars that are used to lift it. I made this out of a chopstick. I’m sure it doesn’t look exactly like the one in the movie, but I think it is a good addition to the look of the game.

What do the numbers 1 to 4 mean in each scene? For me it is so that at the temple, for example, first 1 lights. If you have hit the temple three times, the 1 and the 2 shine. If you continue playing, however, the 2 goes out and the 1 and the 4 light up. What logic is behind it? Thank you for your help

I need a color display or something better than stock. Any recommendations? Other than that I’m LEDing it and that’s it. I love the 8 ball when arc spills over with balls. Kind of looks like snakes spewing out like in movie Only balls. Love it!

Sam Sigma ColorDMD is my recommendation. Whenever the color ROM is released, you only need to download the code to the board.
I saw they came out with color DMD today. I have the original version it’s 1.13. I think I need a larger memory? Anyone know what I need to buy to make it work and what else it entails. I’m a novice. Thanks
ColorDMD announcement. I beta tested this over the past 2 months and it looks great on both the LED and LCD displays.

V1.3 and v1.3a both require a surface mounted flash part to be changed on the board, so soldering is required. I was able to change mine by myself. You can send the board to them to change the part. Email [email protected]
Straight from the announcement.
Color ROMs will be provided for both new displays and older ColorDMD LCD displays (manufactured after 2015) with controller board revision 1.3B or later. These boards include an upgraded larger flash memory needed to support extended ROMs. Earlier controller boards are not supported but can be upgraded by replacing the flash memory on the board.

I haven't played mine in a while... I thought each number of scenes or modes for each movie were lit if that scene/mode was completed for a bonus - unlit wasn't completed. Sorta like a progress report for each movie.
To note: every scene doesn't have to be "completed" for wizard mode.
Getting back in the club. Adding color dmd and shaker. What looks better. Mirror blades or side art like the Iron Maiden one pictured. would also love a pan am plane to mount
I like side art. I'm trying to get Tilt Graphics to do a set for Indy. I'm not a fan of mirror blades.

Did you get it sorted out or buy a new one?
Im adding color dmd this week. Ive done about 5 in the past. Not sure what they mean about controller board upgrades. My color dmd is a few weeks old so guessing I just need to install and download the code

If it is a new Chroma board, it is the latest board revision and no upgrade is needed. Only ones needing an upgrade is the older LCD ColorDMD v1.3 and v1.3a, which I had to replace and install a larger memory flash ROM to turn it into v1.3b.
This was/is our first pin and we still have it, still play it, still love it. My only real question is, the person we purchased it from changed the play field lights out for LEDs but left all of the other lights incandescent. Can I just swap with LED bulbs in place or do I need to do something else? Everything not in the play field is still incandescent so there are quite a few bulbs to go through and then there is the back glass florescent tube I'd love to get rid of as well. We bought the following topper for our game as well and it's been great. https://tilttopper.com/shop?olsPage=products%2Findiana-jones-pinball-topper
Thanks,
Jeff

Yes. Since the bulbs you want to change are the insert/controlled lamps, you would want to buy non-ghosting LEDs, including in the pop bumpers.
Thanks.....Since I have the speaker panel lights I like that color dmd has an aux connector where it plus in by the shooter rod...
I know people don't care for this pin but 50 posts in 2 years is bad In the right size collection this game is fun just to hear the music and the magnet action at the arc.
Would love someone with skills to tweak the code too.
