Back box with the white LEDs looks great! You did an awesome job on your restoration!
Here's a tip for your alien head. Use a rubber band to bring the two upright posts together that the head mounts to.

You may need to try a few different rubber bands and vary the number of times you wrap it around the posts. Too tight and it won't open and close properly. Too loose and you still have a gap. Just right and it looks awesome!
