Quoted from V8haha:

I'm looking at picking one up please fill me in with problems and price guide

Super VUK has had issues for me with this game. The alien head is piece of the machine that gets beat to hell. If your looking at getting one and alien head is pretty intact that's a big plus, Especially if its not a repo cause then the machine most likely wasn't played a whole bunch. Price guide seems to stay around what pinside has for the value. You see some questionable ones at the 1500 range that look like players conditions and then around the 2K range you see alot more in good/great shape. Condition is king for the price but you should be able to find a decent machine for 1500-2000.

What year do you guys think we will have to wait for ColorDMD to do ID4? 2021?

Anyone getting the new blu ray?? If only that attacker was a bit bigger. Would look pretty cool as a topper.

Quoted from thelastjay:

love mine, but the ramps are in terrible shape ... anyone with spares for sale?

Damn that sucks man.. Gotta think they would be extremely hard to find.

I had one of these numbers happen awhile back. Had to just crazy glue it together and unless you really really look... you wouldn't notice. Another reason why I went to the glo-balls instead of normal pinballs. They can just be deadly on this game with little to no spare parts to find.

Did anyone here enjoy the second movie? I thought it was awful. Really disappointed. On the bright side it made me more appreciative towards ID4. I love that movie and the pinball!

Happy 4th everyone!

Quoted from Bugsy:

Why clean and wax your playfield to protect the paint on it when you can just let it get dirty and start wearing through to the bare wood? Then after that happens you can just buy a CPR playfield for $700?
I'm looking at preventative maintenance. It's less expensive than buying a new repo.

Switch your pinballs. I use the Glo-balls on my ID4 , I like the look and feel to them and they really get flying around on this machine. They give your machine less stress because the impact isn't going to be as harsh as the steel barrings. I've been saving my plastics as well as my ID4 head since I've switched. Otherwise really not much else you can do because it's a bash toy and it's the integral part of game so it will continue to be bashed so nothing you can do but wait lol..

Quoted from AlexSMendes:

I find it too expensive.... But maybe I'm overlooking the benefits!

50 bucks for a set yeah I know it is. But without having any reproduction of plastics for this game.. I think it's worth it. I chipped 2 plastics with regular balls in my game since I bought it as well as breaking the left side ramp. After the switch I've been fortunate not to have any more damage.

minneapolis.craigslist.org link

Pretty damn good deal close to me. If I was free up on some funds I'd be snagging it.

I tried calling it shortly after I posted cause I changed my mind and was going to call in sick to go and get it but no answer. Its off craigslist too. Hopefully a pinsider got to it.

It looks good and has nice contrast!

Not a fan of the Alternate translites. I think the OG one fits well with the rest of the game.

Is there any kinda of laser etched topper for this game out there?

#246 2 years ago

In an attempt to revive our dead club. Is there anyone that has or any place that has spare ramps for this game? My left ramp is just done for only so much glue can do at this point.

Nevermind I found one. Does anyone have interest in a half broken one? lol

Quoted from T8ter:

Where did you find the ramp? I’m looking for a (new/nos) right one.

Found it on ebay kinda lucked out. Little rusty on the metal piece on the start of it but I think I could swap that out.

Changed up the ID4 , Thought the topper was a little redundant so I switched the translite.

Sadly, no one played it
